Vince and I are currently working on my engine timing. When I dyno'd it was at 11*. We're not done with logs and tuning yet, but this sucker is pulling a lot harder than it was. I guess I'll be attending yet another dyno day.

Crank it up to about 18 or so and it will get pretty crazy. When I was running meth I was pushing 23* up top. People are running 25 with e85.

How safe is that on 93 and no meth? I have also seen different opinions about boost and timing, anywhere between 20-23psi. I know 11* is pretty conservative.

11 is only 1* higher than stock on the top end. wek saus Good numbers though for that low of timing. Personally I wouldnt go higher than 16 or 17 w/o meth, and even then I'd be closely watching for KR on the scan.
The LNF's that I've seen don't like as much timing as the LSJ's. 25* with an 80% meth mixture is not that extreme for an LSJ.

Yeah, I am thinking a little more conservative than 18-20*. I need this car to get me around, no need to push the limits. 16* is probably where I will want to stop. Man, this thing really screams now with that first update. I'm going to need to relearn the sweet spot on the throttle now to try and keep the meats from breaking loose. First gear is mean. Second isn't that much nicer.
I have one parameter on the aeroforce set to watch the knock retard. I haven't seen any with this first update. I need to go through the manual to learn how to record it.

I can't wait to go more agressive once I get my new clutch! I've been contemplating going meth and switching back to 93 instead of E85 but I don't know how they compare.

Im running meth and 93 and I ran a 4.4 60-100. So IMO I think they compare fairly well lol

E85 is a way better option than meth. Meth is just a bandaid.

Well, that's all I needed to hear. I'll keep the E. It makes me extra happy...plus it smells nice after a good pull
Well, IamBroke actually is running that currently and has seen no difference. He can't push anymore timing with Meth on top of E with results.
