Nice. I am looking for 550whp ad long as Vince at trifecta gets this new fuel stuff figured out. 500 if I am on the regular stuff. I just won't have any way to hook on the road at less than 60-70.

Update: Car is getting PS recall and the leak by the high pres. fuel pump fixed(he said it was the worst he has seen). Mechanic wants to be sure oil leak by the bell housing isn't coming from there before he cracks open the tranny(I'm 99.99% positive it's not). He ordered parts for tomorrow, I guess I'll find out about it then.

Sounds about like my day. Replacing the cv shaft AGAIN cuz the one I bought last year crapped out. Luckily its warrantied. Damn thing is stuck on the inner splines. I have it jacked to the sky and can't get a small enough prybar or anything in there to pop it. Last time it just popped on its own. Damn thing is making me call off work. It seized up Tuesday and I had to leave work and ride the tow truck home. So two call offs in a week and I'm worried about job security.

I said I was 99.99% sure the leak wasn't coming from the high pressure fuel pump area, I left that 0.01% chance there. Well, I may have been wrong for the first time in my life . I'm still keeping an eye on it to be sure. Man, what a relief though. The mechanic did a great job cleaning the oil off of the engine and wiring. I'll keep an eye on that area as well. Seems I got all worked up for no reason other than the fact that my engine was leaking oil like a sieve. I'm not putting my parts back on for a couple hundred miles or so to be sure it's fixed.

YAY!!! Mine are down and out. The Mazda parts haven't arrived after 3 weeks, so I'm going to cancel them if they aren't shipped tomorrow and just say F it. Saturn's drive axle is destroyed and the old inner bearing is jammed in there. Nothing will get it out. So I'm going to TRY to get it into a shop tomorrow morning even if I have to tow it there. :/ I've pulled, pried, and pounded that piece, but it won't budge. My biggest fear is the trans is trashed and locking those gears, but it shifts in and out of gear normally. The axle was the original proble,, but driving a couple blocks when it locked up may have done some damage.

Do you need a ride or are you not going with it when it's towed? I'm heading into Lancaster to do some things in the morning if you do. I need to be in Picktown at 1pm though for an appt.

Idk. I gotta call around in the AM and see if Newlon Tire can get me in. They do CV repairs. With the right equipment (and people with true skills) it shouldn't take them 30 minutes from start to finish seeing as I already have the fluid and parts. I hope I didn't F the other one up though. I called John fro advice and he told me to take the other side off and push it through the other side. Other side was just as stubborn, so I gave up before I did any damage to it (or so I hope). Its 110 bucks to replace vs 50 for the drivers side.

Well, I'm a chump. I'm getting my car towed out to a shop to be fixed today. I fail at mechanical things. I can't even get the right side's driveshaft back in.

hahah, yes I do too. What makes me more mad is it as far done as it can be till I get the IM and TB. Also my truck started making funky noises since it got warmer and that scares me not having the cobalt done yet.
