I'm scheduling a baseline reading at Big Shot as we speak. I'll have the stage kit installed two weeks before May 7 and I'll be there to get an after dyno. Group discount FTW!

Okay fellas, I took my car to the dealer this morning to find out why my clutch kept losing pedal pressure. They told me my slave cyl. is leaking(moisture on the bottom of the bell housing). This is started happening after the oil leak was repaired. I know this because the housing was dry when I looked through the access cover Chris told me about. They told me it was covered under warranty. However, they have not looked inside the housing yet. I did not volunteer any info either. I guess I'll find out tomorrow if the warranty still stands. I guess I should just be prepared to foot the bill, if not, I'll be surprised.

They probably won't even notice the clutch as being anything but stock. Where you taking it?

Bob McDorman, they have always been great. The tech seems to know his **** though( which is good and bad at the same time). He might figure it out. If he does, I'll just expect to pay the bill. No problem there, as I should since it is aftermarket. I hope they don't say anything though. If there is fluid on the clutch, I'm definitely screwed.

It sounds like a bad line. Obviously I'm far from a tech, but if you are losing pressure, it stands to reason something is letting pressure out. The lines would be the first to go.

I'm thinking a loose fitting on the slave.

Who knows though, I've been wrong once before.

There goes the money I was saving for some new tires. The tech new instantly when he dropped the tranny, he even knew it was a stage three clutch. I'll pick it up in the morning and then drive home with my tail between my legs and a heavy credit card.

I hate that feeling. Getting excited to spend money on a toy...then finding out you have to fix something expensive.

Unless they come up with some bullshit that the pressure plate and the clutch caused it.

Tell them bullshit. Look at the pressure plate part numbers and I bet they are the stock tc pressure plate, I know my clutchmasters uses a stock pressure plate and just a stickier disk

Second leak was apparently fluid that leaked into the housing during install. He must have let a hell of a lot of fluid leak while he was connecting the lines. He loosened up the housing and sprayed it out with brake cleaner to remove the remaining clutch fluid. That is what they told me anyhow. So far, all is good.
