Times change suddenly.

I'm a Phoenix SRT now. I'll miss Woodward, but i have a feeling there's some nice cruising down here in the 'less hot' months. Soooo many cars with modifications here. Half the cars on the road have aftermarket rims.

Sorry i couldnt come out to visit this year before the move. Been trying to diagnose a battery draining problem in my car for months. Finally believe i found the culprit. Will be so nice to have a car that can sit for 3 days without dying, again.

Yep, that was me !!!!!!!!!!!! I was late for work too. I usually travel that road at 5 AM and then again at 5:30 PM heading home. I seen your SSnet stickers on the window so I knew I would talk to ya soon.

Yea...I've seen that car....I had a silver Cavi w/tinted windows and rims before I bought the SS/SC.....much better upgrade.

Get your windows done at ProStyle on Center RD. We have had all of our cars done there except the Balt, which was done at Ziebart...and has had to be redone twice now and it still looks crappy in the read (small bubbles and creases). Prostyle is doing our Hummer this week and they have pretty reasonable prices.

Ziebart on Saginaw st just south of Belsay, they where $20 less than Pro Style on Center Rd, and they got me in right away. Had my Cavi done at Ziebart . several years ago and never had a problem. Had the SS/SC done now for 2 months with no problem. The girl friend even had her Buick done there a month ago.

Canada Windsor Ontario Cobalt gathering

This is for all you SE Michigan Cobalt owners. I'm trying to organize a simple meet and greet with all local Cobalt owners in the Windsor area. I wanted to see if any of you would be interested in crossing the border to come hang out with us. I was planning this gathering for Sunday September 16th at the waterfront lot we call "civic terrace", it's directly accross from the Casino on Riverside Dr. I will determine the time once I get more feedback from everyone. I just posted this idea to a few guys on the Canadian regional section and already have 5 people interested. Let me know and I will keep a list of attendees and keep everyone posted.

Birth Certificate, Passport, Couple Forms of identification (License, Social Security Card etc) will be needed at the border. Unsure how well a bunch of Cobalts will look going across a bridge.

It's easy coming into Canada....no passport required. Trust me..I have the inside. Birth Certificate and photo I.D. It's actually tougher for us Canadians to get into the U.S. Canadian border guards are easy going. Don't let the border scare you guys away....Windsor is overwhelmed with young Americans all weekend coming over to drink.
They get over very easy. Most don't even have birth certificates, a few I.D's work.

I would but I'll be there this weekend for my fraternity's semiformal, I can't blow two weekends in Canada.

As far as getting in/out (I'm 19, so I have experience)-you need license and birth certificate, OR passport. Social security card doesn't work, neither does school ID.

Sometimes you can get through on a license, but like Ontario said, it's tougher to get back in, and getting hung up and searched at the border because you don't have two forms like some random guard wants isn't worth it.

The Immigration folks are easy to get along with. Last time i came through Canada, one stopped me and BS'd for about 15 mins about the car..........wonder what the people behind thought.....

Just bring some good I.D. Tell em you went to the Casino or similar (don't bother with duty free) and keep it cool. They only give you crap if they get it!

I know - I'm an alien.......
