as in for this particular show?
HIN pretty much lets anyone show... just register online. but they do sometimes get specific with number of modifications you need to have to compete because if the venue fills up they will most likely turn people away...they did this at HIN Boston with me...even though my car was easily one of the best cars there, they let too many stockers in and were going to turn me away until i raised hell...they actually did wind up turning about 100 cars away. pre-registration means nothing to them...if you dont show up on time...they will turn you away.
basically if you are interested in showing...you want to have a clean car and you want to be able to talk to the judges and tell them what makes your ride unique, they have mild , wild, catagories as well.
NCCA has a great website with showmanship tricks

lol, im glad i wasnt there to witness that. i probably would have ended up laughing at the those guys. not being rude, i just find it funny when peeps are getting bitched out. even laughed at my mom when i was younger as she was bitching me out, just made her even more furious w/ me LOL.
but yeah, ill probably see you there. will my car be in the show? thats a different question. I'm def going but i dont know what the deadline will be to enter. I dont want to commit to entering the car if i end up not being able to show up for some ungodly reason the Navy can come up with for me. On second thought, i might just end up taking leave. lol

Ive gone the past 3 years in a row. But sorry guys, I always roll up with my car club/close friends. Its a tradition.
<----my avatar is my car club's logo
Just for those who dont know, PlaysWitCars entered his car last year and didnt win anything. Typically, the only cars that place are crazy widebody twin turbo Supras, crazy widebody M3s, fully JDM'd out RHD Civics/Integras, fully decked out EVOs/STIs with $4,000 sets of Volks, Advans or HREs, etc etc. This isnt like an outdoor class car show. This is the best in the country.

Its "Altezza" style, as they are originated from the Toyota Altezza (IS300 for us), which was the first car to do the whole "clear w/ red" tailight thing (from the factory) back when the first came out. Then every other vehicle on Earth had the option of having an Altezza style tailight within a year of its introduction thanks to APC, lol.
