The most amazing thing though is the parking lot outside the event. Literally like 3 parking lots, plus the Wendy's, BK's, McDonalds nearby, etc etc FILL up with all kinds of badass cars. Really makes you realize how many hooked up sport compacts are in this area.

yep, but you are going to germany so technically ill be the only one with them, LOL. when did you get yours anyway?
oh and my parents said that they still haven't showed up to their house yet, along with the drop springs, IM GETTING HEATED over this. ill never buy from cobalt performance parts again.
also picked up the 3rd break light LED insert/replacement. Came with a wiring how to so that its always on and then gets brighter when you tap on the breaks

as in for this particular show?
HIN pretty much lets anyone show... just register online. but they do sometimes get specific with number of modifications you need to have to compete because if the venue fills up they will most likely turn people away...they did this at HIN Boston with me...even though my car was easily one of the best cars there, they let too many stockers in and were going to turn me away until i raised hell...they actually did wind up turning about 100 cars away. pre-registration means nothing to them...if you dont show up on time...they will turn you away.
basically if you are interested in showing...you want to have a clean car and you want to be able to talk to the judges and tell them what makes your ride unique, they have mild , wild, catagories as well.
NCCA has a great website with showmanship tricks

I already tried doing something like that in the past. Ended up having a lot of drama and in-decision, so I ended up deleting the thread.

A mild approach isn't always bad either though. I mean look at the JDM cars.......its not always how much you have........but rather how nice/hard to obtain/rare/expensive the stuff you have is too. Gotta give respect where it is to everyone.

i think HIN focuses too much of JDM though...the top cars right now are all rare part cars...which sucks because no one takes into account how 1 off 80 % of my car is.. i always lose to JDMs.
JDM while expensive to obtain is still able to be bought ....
i would have put a higher point value on 1 off then things people can buy because with money anyone could build the same exact cars.
so its money vs talent.... and money always wins...if you take a look at the cars who took top honors above me youd be like huhhhh???? they have about 10 less mods and arent even as clean.... but thats the show circuit for you.... no biggy though...im happy placing and winning something rather then nothing .
