my Flowmaster muffler is shot...anyone have one lyin around with a tip ?

how is a flowmaster shot? I have not ever seen one go bad. I have a single in dual out for a camaro in the shed.

im not sure...the insides of it are totally f***ed...you can hear all the stuff rattling around in it. I took it to bluegrass and they said Flowmaster sucks they only last 18 months then theyre done....tried to charge me 260+ for a new magnaflow muffler/tip/labor...

that is par for the course for Bluegrass... after my sexcapade with them, I wouldn't recommend a hooker loaded with herpes and HIV to them for for a gang bang. I ran a set of flowmasters on my mustang for 8 years or better then sold them to a lowrider buddy of mine that is still running them on his regal and that has been at least 7 years.

The only thing that will really come loose and make a bunch of pinging noises in the muffler is the honey comb stuff in the cat. if it is starting to break up it makes the muffler rattle like a spray can of paint.

Try taking it to Exhaust Pro on Outerloop just past old shep. Chris turned me on to them and they fixed bluegrasses **** ups for less than half of what bluegrass charged me to start off with in 45 minutes. Bluegrass took 7 days.

It shouldn't cost more than $150 at the max to put a new flowmaster with a tip on.

50 or 60 series =$50
Tip = $20 max
Labor = $60 (Minimum hour, for a 15 minute weld and 2 minute torch off).

i have a stock muffler and wanting something that will flow better with out a lot a noise. flowmaster's last a long time but to noisy for me.

you got a high rise or low rise? I've seen 2 red sc's around fort knox area. One had a low rise, but it also had one primed fender. The other was a high rise that I seem to always see goin in the opposite direction of me down Dixie

oh and btw they were vic red

Well Im tint coant with a low rise, no primer fender either. I go back and forth on post each day. part of "them new guys with ones'"

Yea, there are 3 sc's in 3/1 a vic red w/ high rise black with high rise and mine, also a ss/na yellow low rise, along with the ls with a ss body kit(yellow with black peices)

I've seen all of them. My girl is an supply NCO over there so I'm over there alot. I've seen yours, the black one with the high rise rev'd his engine at me a few times when I pass and I pass the vic red on Dixie goin opposite direction all the time. As for the yellow one, Ive seen it a few times wondering whos it was. I've seen a guy driving it and a chick. Chick cut me off at the BP gas station and almost hit me

I haven't met the guy in the yellow one yet, he always parks next to mine tho. The Vic Red one is in my company its bone stock as of now. Don't know much about the black one, it sounds nice, lol. Are there any get togethers in radcliff or E-town?

One of my Soldiers also has a sport tint one. 08 though, with a low rise. I have only met a few people around here, I guess its really my fault though, cause I can never get away since I'm always busy with work. I just came back from leave yesturday and I'm goin TDY to Indiana for a couple days. There hasn't been much around here lately that I know of. Most of the time you gota travel to Louisville. But I'm always do for a get together.

I blew a bulb in my headlight when I was outside washing my car lastnight...gota replace that **** now. Washing a car in 10 degree weather isn't smart, but I don't like a two toned car from the salty roads of New York, lol

I also finally got my new charge pipes and down pipe on. Car has a little bit more bark to it now with a catless down pipe. Also got all my digital gauges wired up

I was running with a guy yesterday on dixie... sport tint red SS/SC... running a 2.7 with 60's... pulled pretty hard. I think he said he is BradSS/SC on here...

Two toned as in black fading up to orange or black from the rear corner lights to the bumper? Trent on here used to have the latter. I cant remember the other guys name, but it became two toned from running the car through a house.
