break in should consisit of alot of stopping and starting IMO. the starting part dont involve breaking the tires loose either..lol.. keeping it in 5th for 400 miles isnt really breaking it in... but chime in if im wrong

I am not sure about these space aged new fangled clutches, but in the mustangs that i have had, break in consisted of 2 minutes idling in neutral when the car was warming up, about a minute to back out of a long ass driveway, 5 minutes to get to the bottom of the hill where a straight stretch of road was, then hammer through three gears. Turn around, then do it on a 150 shot of spray. I never really had any clutch problems, just tranny problems.... (input shafts and syncros)

And yes Chris, i was a shiftin sumbitch then too.

I need an alignment too. Hit a pot hole pretty good at 3am heading back to NY...car is pulling to the left now...not too much, just enough to annoy me

the shop putting my clutch in called today and said they had the flywheel turned and were putting the new clutch in and the pressure plate is loose on the "dows" which are there to align it and keep it tight and from vibrating/going out of wack? he was talking about the "dows" never heard of a dow before...same thing as the pins ? has anyone heard of this before i need some feedback asap...

how loose ? there should be a little movement as the dow pins are there to line everything up. they do not hold pressure. are you talking with anthony?

There are also bolts that hold the pressure plate to the flywheel, the dowls are just there for initial line up.

Goin to drop my girls car off at the VW dealership...a yelllow ss/sc passed me on 31w going south...away from louisville. Then in radcliff coming home after work i saw a yellow ss/sc with a low rise at Movie Gallery or something. Next to Papa Johns right off 31w. Anyone know who these people are? Also, you guys know who drives a black srt4 with dual red stripes? Tinted out...HID kit, well it had kinda blueish headlights. Black oem wheels, and it sounded done up. He went flyin passed me then slammed his brakes on and stopped practically halfway in the intersection. He want to race or atleast it seemed like it, but it 40mph and traffic was gettin shitty. He was driving like a douch...lol

So after doing a lot of reading it seems that its better for you to have someone tune your car personally then buying a general tune from like trifecta. Is that true? If so, anyone know someone around here you can tune my LNF? My car is quick, but I want more. I'm greedy...

Them pads and roters would be all ebc. The pads are ebc red stuff. I love them and I am ordering some fir the SI, if that tells you anything. Sean also has them on his Balt as well. We both have been running them for over a year now with not one issue.
