Most of the fault codes like that have a 3 time start life time and then when they fault again the light comes back on. but if it is reading bpv stuck that is more related to a bypass valve in the turbocharger since it is internally gated. I'm not an LNF guru so im not 100% on the second part

Correcto Mundo my cobalt brother basic codes like mifire codes fuel emission code will have a run of say 3 times hit. If the code is not seen then the PCM will reprogram itself ad if there was never a code there are also code that hit it's first time without a cel light like the brake light or clutch switch. U can turn codes off but that is highly illegal. Safest bet is go back with a recirc bov. Be careful with system that needs a recirculation bov. Can cause detonation which causes kr (knock) unburned fuel consuption which could cause irregular ring wear and piston wear inside of cylinders. Best bet is go recirc bov

waddup guys ive been out of the loop for a while...just got back from 10 days in panama city yesterday..saw some crazy ss's down there. Not a problem with mine going down or back. however i was riding behind a semi on the way down just outside nashville and his tire blew (didnt see it since it was dark out) ran right over it but didnt think it messed anything up til i stopped in Bama. Came to find out it took the front lip completely off. If anyone had one they didnt want or need let me know.

Even better on the way home just right out of florida i raced a royal blue srt-4 with an indiana tag, black hood and the loudest turbo ive ever heard, thought i was gonna get blown. we started at a 35 roll and i toasted his ass...while his girlfriend got it on camera then he flew by after i hit the brakes at about 130 and was pulled over 60 seconds later. made my day !

But anyone with the SS front lip let me know . It looks like Im driving a 2.4 SS lol

Been gone awhile but seein if anyone wants or knows someone who would want the balt in its current state before I put money into it to sell.

2006 71xxx miles 2.4 5-speed victory red, sunroof is the only option. Currently has SS 18" polished rims, konis/sportlines, TWM shifter, axleback exhaust, Vectormotorsports tune and black interior trim. Has a pretty much brand new head w/10k miles due to dealer installing timing chain backwards. The bad: 2nd gear syncro is out, needs tires bad, and has some scuffs on the passenger side door. Car runs great but only drive it on the weekend and put maybe 200miles a month. Would be interested in a trade for an 03+ 1/2 ton 2wd v8 reg cab short bed chevy/gmc. 7000obo

If the car doesn't sell i'm looking for:

SS stock springs (will have sportlines if anyone wants to trade for stock springs +$50)
front grille
Silver dash trim

if you go to, i think, PACAudio.com or soemthing like that, there is directions on how to do it. Pretty good ones too. I'm just too damn lazy. I wish I got the wired ones, the IR one is a pain in the ass.

oh and btw, Happy Birthday to me!! And Happy Easter everyone

no idea. But I saw two yellow SS's today. One NA with a low rise and a SC with the ride side wheels powder coated black and the left side left stock. Had black gen 1 projectors too.

My tune update came in today. I'm pullin a 24 hour duty tonight but once I get home and take a nap I'ma reinstall my retros then work on my Hahn intake and retune. I can friggen wait!

Whens the next meet up?

Not sure about a meet. I have to put the hitch receiver on the HHR then it is up to Wisconsin today and hit Chicago on the way back tonight.

BTW, Chris, the receiver / hitch kit that we bought for the HHR also fits the Cobalt's. (hint, hint) need more 4 wheeler love down here.

The receiver hitch is now on... not too bad of a job really. The HUGE stock muffler on the HHR was a pain to work around. It had more hangers in the back of the car than I have ever seen. The wifey is happy now.
