if it is bwalker0510 old car, and it sounds like it is, the report of stolen in sept was an insurance job. He supposedly sold the turbo kit to the guy in canada in october of 09 and did not post anything about the car being stolen. Sounds like our boy Darren was just a big liar all the way around and cheated what ever he could to get some quick cash... when the car was all together with the turbo kit on it, it was pretty strong on the bottom end. It may not be hurt. It just had a **** tune on it.

i would say insurance fraud.....lol... i dont think you have anything to worry about as far as someone looking for you.. he sold his turbo kit, then kept the money and never shipped it out. is the motor blown? because he did have it built at automotion. you could prolly search this thread and find what all he did to it. i also remember him having issues with his intake manifold leaking(he may have got that fixed). but his tune was his only main issue. i say keep it and build it back

the motor IS blown. the oil when i drained it looked like milk. but i already knew that when i bought the car. ive built a few motors before and have pretty much every tool i need so ill probaly just find someone to install the sleeves and ill do everything else myself. before i drive all the way to louisville with the block i wanna make sure automotion can install aftermarket sleeves though. im up here right now visiting some family so i might go talk to them today. any idea who i should talk to.

honestly, I wouldn't bother with the LS4 tb. there is not much gain for the pain in the ass that it is to tune it in.

personally, I think that a good polish job is about the best way to go. I haven't had much experience with porting tb out. I just don't see a big gain with taking out a few thousandths of material out of the housing then dealing with trying to tune the blade back in. If I recall, the main reason that people port heads is to modify the swirling effect of the air path by removing material in specific areas. Polish it up to smooth the surface.
