I have never knew that missing a shift caused main bearings to fail.... usually that is improper break in or the wrong size bearing for the journal, or improper torque on the caps.

just do a proper break in for the first 500 miles. stay out of boost, stay under 3k and stay off of the highway. Seems easy enough to me.

well the way they break in their engines is dyno pulls. they've been doing it for years and never had an engine fail, till now. and thats combined with apparently the only way to bust a lifter is miss a downshift, they pinned it on me
i still believe its these new rocker arms everyone is using. all these threads popping up of people busting lifters, are all using the new rockers. i've never once seen someone bust a lifter on the old rockers

yeah if all goes well i'll be picking up the car this coming weekend. gonna take a small detour to my friends place in michigan for a little fucktime and then head out the next morning to kentucky to drop of the turbo kit to scotty.
all depends on the lifter situation. i told them i wanted solid's put in so it all depends on the time. the BLE's require periodic checking and adjusting but go into the factory lifter bores. the Bates don't need to be adjusted but the lifter bores need to be drilled slightly deeper. so whatever they can get to the shop and installed first is what i'm going with.
that and they still haven't gotten back to me with a price for the cage. and idk how long that'll take to weld in. but I told ryan if the car is driveable by monday/tuesday then to do what he did last time and drive it around as a DD like he would his own car till i can come get it. that way it'll get some more miles on it.

buy chris's setup and stay the hell away from bluegrass. Unless you like paying 9x the price for sub par workmanship.

Exhaust pro on outerloop. Should be cheaper than $200. Bluegrass will bait you in with a mediocre price, then BAM! your setup needs something else and butt secks. Alex will fawk you in a heart beat, no lie.

well i replaced the leaking new clutch actuator with a new clutch actuator and it is leaking as well. Anyone have any input as to why? i am done messing with it. I am planning on buying a new clutch, a stock flywheel and taking it somewhere to have it done so can anyone recommend a good local shop? I dont have the time to do it myself being that I am working 12 hour days 5 to 7 days a week.
