Guys need some help here is my other post!!
This is my other post conversations with other members sorry if there is any confusion i deleted the other members names when i copied and pasted!!
Yesterday I changed the plugs in my car and replaced the vacuum hoses!! Today met up with my friend to ride around and lost all power like the supercharger was blown or worse!! Had some white smoke coming from the exhaust. When I got home I puller her in the garage and low and behold I put the vacuum hoses in the wrong spot to the actuator. I had the bottom on the top and vise vs. It ran like crap!!
My question to the experienced did I do any damage to anything? I have been having a miss and thats why I did the plug change. Miss is still there somewhat and it seems like the car is being held back somewhat. Maybe cat is clogged? Thanks
ME:Its not smoking all the time i havent seen it just today when the hoses were wrong!
THEM:what's your plug gap
ME:I put it a .40 im stock except air box mod and the miss started after it i think!!
THEM:that's too big of a gap, the miss is probably spark blow out.
THEM:gap to .035.
ME:Well today on my way home from work on the interstate when the care was under load it didnt seem like it had much power and was hunching when i was in boost.. came home and re gapped my plugs and wow it woke the car up Now if it will just continue to run like this!! One more question the car ran fine until i did a brake job and the airbox mod.. could the air box mod foul or hurt my plugs? Thanks again guys this forum rocks!

From what I am reading could the airbox mod be throwing my fuel trims really far out of whack? Should I just put the stock box back on and if so will it self correct the fuel trims? Thanks guys

Im going to the lake this weekend I will def come see you when i get back!! Will it cause it to bog out even when i getting full boost making the car feel as if its at a stand still? Will puttign the stock filter and putting the bottom on the box self fix itself because it has no power when u try and boost... The air box now has a hole drilled it in could I just put a piece of duct tape over it or will it not really bother anything? Thanks again.. I have the cash to see u just need the time now lol!!
