Trent, Had the same problem on mine when i bought it. I had warranty though, ended up being a sensor for clutch engagement. I never saw what it looked like or where it was, but thats what they told me.

I had the same problem to. first make sure that you are not resting your foot on the clutch pedal. that sensor is very sensitive. another thing that will do it is if your clutch pedal is not fully released for 7 shifts it will throw a code and disable cruise control.

you do know that our knobs are different.... mine doesn't have the screw in the top. Find an aftermarket that you like and give me a call. We'll see if I cant get you hooked up.

Im thinking about going to beech bend in bowling green tomorrow (saturday) night. Ive never been to a dragstip before so im dying to go to one. I looked on the schedule and its "O'Reilly Saturday Night Fun Racing plus
Baymont Inn Camaro Night"

does that mean anyone can race or what?

I am not too sure. I would like to go back to BB sometime this year and get a 1/4 mile run or two in. I would need to talk to the wife about tomorrow though. I think that she may have plans. So, tenatively, I am in.

Tomorrow at beach bend, the gates open at 5, and the shoot out is at 8. It is kinda like the underground shootout that the valley has up here.

Check my post out...

Trent, don't know what is up with your times man. I ran a calculator on my 1/8 mile time of 9.2 and it comes up around 14.3 give or take .1.... Running stock wheels and tires kills are 60fts.

you should be able to get into 13's with those mods. it just wasnt your day at the track.

i just want to go to a drag strip, just to play legally. I aint really worried about times.

Just chalk it up to heat soak and thick air. if you are looking to improve upon the number, hit the track up around late sept. early oct. when the nights have about a 15-20* drop in temp when the sun goes down.

yeah my coolant temps were up over 200 when sitting still ( i did turn the car off when i was waiting)
also there was a 01 camaro ss that ran a 13.8 two different times and that seemed way low for that car.
there was a an evo that was launching VERY agressively (rev limiter clutch drops...) and im pretty sure his times were like 13.1-13.2
