I raced a mazda protege tonight on preston.. We did a roll race from about 15 mph(he came up beside me as i was accelerating from a redlight) and it was pretty damn close up until about 50 when i started pulling.. is that right? it had to be turboed or something, right? he wanted to know why i started to slow after i got about a car and a half on him. that is the other reason i think it was turboed. i did not see any speed badges on the car but i know that dont mean much. i have plans for fri. what is everyone doing sat? i need to get out in the balt before i head to fl on sun morning. cant stay out too late have to catch a flight at 7am sun morning.

Some of them do come turbo'd. You could have just walked away from him with no problem!

i dont think i have a leak from the header install. I think it is the cat back making a real raspy almost misfire sound. I wonder if when that cat f'ed up if some of the honeycomb is in the muffler?

it seems like it is getting worse..at idle i can hear coming out of the muffler so i know that is where it is coming from. you all think i could get it all out by taking the muffler off and shaking it out? BTW nice looking brake kit mike.

you should be able to shake it out of the muffler. just make sure that you shake it out of the inlet. i am not sure if you can get them to go all the way through the mufflers. it depends on how the baffling is made on the inside.

Flea Markets! Why would you want to put that on there for? There is nothing wrong with Ford.

those stickers are just asking to get you rolled up by a turbo focus... or an old junk fox body....

j/k, to each their own. I was contemplating the same one with the Chevy emblem for the bike.

One of the only pictures of mine on the track in bowling green... I thought it was pretty fast. I never could get a full pass on it though... the gear was too deep. i was in the right lane.

yeah.... if you look at the compare the mpg and time with the other car, you can tell it was faster than the gear had to offer. usually 3 mph slower vehicle is 1-1.5 seconds slower in the 1/4.....

maybe by next spring it will be back out... the goal is 8's and street drivable....
