I'm glad I am pretty much the only one around with a TC.... Black in color as well.
There is, or was a Yellow 05' SS/SC for sale on Big M's lot here in Radcliff, I wonder who gets that, lol

LUKE..... Ok man.....I want to shave the trunk lock... I thought about just swapping them back so I don't have your lock and you don't have mine but I just want to go ahead and shave it. Once I shave it I will just give/mail yours back to you....
First things first, I am going to do it all my self (except paint, I am going to have the paint done professionally, or call up a guy that quicksilver41 had his work done buy) I am also going to fill some very very minor dents that cannot be popped out and all the sanding myself.....
I don't remember telling you but when I attempted removing the pin stripes on the trunk and I chipped some paint, Getting the paint/clear done shouldn't cost too much and shouldn't take long.
As for the shaving part.... How would I go about doing this. I don't want to weld sheet metal to fill it, and besides the the trunk lock hole has been stamped so that it is slightly level with the body. Can I glue a wire backing on the inside of the trunk, fill with a shredded fiberglass/resin mixture, smooth, fill with body filler, and then prime? Would that hold up? I have seen it done before so just wondering....
Another question...... I just wanted you to do it at your school can you show me some pics of your work and get me an exact estimate and time it will take?
Thanks man

hey justin. well the only way to do shave the trunk lock right would be to weld it closed. just putting soemthing there then putting body filler/fiberglass wouldnt hold for a while. and could possibly/mmore then likely mess the paint up when closing the trunk. and as far as dents, but i had to stop school man. my gradnmaw was getting really bad and shes like a mom. so im on i guess you wold call it hold. but i can call my teachers and see if i could bring it down there 1 day and do it. and yeah i got some pics of my work on diff cars and stuf. Pm me and ill send em too ya.

well, i'm gonna be there, our car club is comin out there,, last week at the track here by fort campbell was my first time on the track with all my mods, and a half-tuned setup, stock tires,, and with the stage 4 clutch,, i couldnt feather any gears whatsoever,, and my only option was to just play with the gas and then go all out at about 5000 rpm,, and still,,,, too much power,, all i did was spin tires all the way until the last 100 feet of the 1/8 so, i need to get used to my new setup, and lol,, i think its bad now,,, once i get my tuning done completely,, its gonna be time for a set of slicks primarily for track nights... but yeah,,, get me some info on where yall are meetin up,, i'll be sure we get there on time, and have some fun.
