For those of you that have not paid your $20 deposit they are now due. Please get them to me by March 1st.
I got the contract for the rental from the track today and I need to sign it and pay a substantial deposit to the track when I send it back.

The 75 car field is now full and I have created a reserve list for additional racers that are interested in seeing if a spot in the rental opens up or if I expand to more then 75 cars.
For those already in the 75 car field that have not already paid their deposit, I am extending a grace period until March 10 to get your $20 deposit in. If your deposit is not in by that date you will be moved from the 75 car field to the reserve list and your spot will be open to other racers wishing to jone the rental. Racers already on the reserve list will be given first option to take an open spot in the field.

The rental is now less then 6 weeks away and it's time to start collecting the final $20. Just like with the deposit either paypal me at RussMotz@adelphia.net or PM me for my address to send and check or make other arangements.
We just had 4 cars drop out because they will not be ready...so spots are available for the moment. If you are interested in racing PM me. In 6 hours of racing you should be able to get at least 15 runs in. Way better then going to a test and tune and coming home with maybe 3 runs in. After the racing we are moving the party to the local Quaker Steak and Lube for their cruise-in.

My car should be getting tuned the 16th!! I'm hoping I need a helmet for the rental.

I'm going to need people to sign up for 1/2 hour shifts to work the water box, staging lanes and ET shack. I'll be asking for volenteers when I assign your cars number. I especially need to know whos willing to work the first two shifts before hand that would be 9:00 and 9:30 at these stations since I'll probably still be checking in cars.

are you serious its free to watch!? they charge $10 to watch test and tunes there. thats awesome. if i dont have anything goin on that day ill prolly come out to watch. im a 15-20 min drive from there.

And yes it is absolutely 100% free to come and watch... the track made all its $ from people paying to race I would assume.

i may have to sell my spot if someone wants to take it, shoot me a pm
wasnt happy with my results from the columbus racing track rental, only 13.9s with wheel hop galore, went form 8.9 1/8th mile to a 9.3 1/8th mile.. i cant ever push wot in first gear, i catch up in 2nd in 3rd to run the 13s. i dont know if driving all the way out there to just see the same numbers, plus im getting "EMERGENCY POWER SHUTOFF" and my car shuts off when at wot, happens about once a week. this 2.6 pulley isnt going so well
