Well my 2nd gen headlights are going back and i'm getting a full refund for it as well. Any time I ran over a puddle, my dash would go dim, and most everything would go in to a low power mode. Kinda like when the car is in Accessory mode. Took it to the dealership thinking it was something under warranty. Turns out the place I got my headlights from (or the manufacture of the lights) didn't do a very good job of wiring them. Not the first time i've had the problem though. So they are lemoning out my headlights and giving me a refund.

So I'm thinking of going with 3rd gens now. Anyone know of good places that sell them? Looking to get a HID kit with them as well, all pre-wired up if at all possible. Open to suggestions guys.

ZZP Mid-Length 1.75 Primary 3" Catted DP
ZZP 3" Stainless Mandrel Bent Exhaust W/ Magnaflow Resonator and Muffler

With about 14.5 boost

And Tim tuned mine also.
Tim is telling me that the new 50#ers are really good though (spray pattern, consistency at idle, etc.).

I do not plan on going much farther(I am very happy with the acceleration now after the tune) and I think that I **** enough people off on my drive to work (94 from Metroparkway to 696 to Mound) as it is...

Wonder if there would be enough head room to run a 2.8? I could possibly hit 260 or a little more with 50 and a 2.8

LOL Have a lot of options that I can throw around over winter forged ZZP short block with my stock blower and a 2.8 or 2.7 with E or turbo swap hmm idk.. All depends on what kind of money I come up with plus our bonus at work.

Alright, who on here has a black LSJ/LNF (Didn't check for Brembo's) with grey/gunmetal (may have been black) wheels, CSS & R1concepts stickers on quarter windows, and possibly an aftermarket exhaust?

Saw your car at Meijer in Lapeer last night, I thought about leaving a note but didn't want to walk back to my truck to find a pen.

I must be impossible to find. lol. That does remind me, I do have a short video of someone I spotted. Yellow base, with some big yellow sticker on the rear window, full tint, black wheels. Saw em a couple days back. I will eventually edit the video and post it up.'

Edit: I'm getting 3rd gen projectors with 6K HID's, so I might be easier to find. They should be here by Jan 3, or earlier.

Couldn't bring myself to like the 1st or 4th gen personally. I liked the 2nd gens, but have had nothing but issues with them. So I'm trying the 3rd gens now. I know the CCFL's and LED's prob don't help, but eh. I like them.

what does your guy's cobalts run temp wise? i drove my gf's cobalt last night because she said it is having more problems. while i was driving it i noticed that running 55 mph, that it was running between 192-200. that was with the heat on too. i dont know if cobalts are any different from other cars but usually its 170-175. could it just be a gummed up temp sensor?
