well fords ecoboost runs on regular, and no where does it state PREMIUM only it says recomended, i wont use regular. this is first tank, dont see any signs of knocking runs fine and gets way better MPG, after 3 days of driveing ive only used a 1/4 tank when usally its down to 5/8's. if it blows oh well its under warrenty and since the dealer wouldnt figure out what the whineing noise at 60 mph is hopefully this will.

Why are you running mid grade? It beats the living **** out of me because you are not saving much at all. The entire "If it blows up it will get replaced under warranty" is ridiculous statement to say the least. The lower octane will retard timing and you will lose power, simple as that. You bought a $16,000^ car, at least try to treat it like one.

Anyone have experiences getting tint prescription? My eyes are fine just really hate dealing with tint tickets, I only have 35% on the front and is far less then what some people drive with.

Forgot to properly introduce myself to the Michigan thread
Here's what I built before I got my cobalt.
And the cobalt I'm working with now is just a 2007 Base model LS if that explain it all...
Lowering it on FE5 Suspension with CM springs, and throwing on some 17's when I get money for tires. Nothing special... If it doesn't give me too much of a headache I might supercharge it someday, car only has 58k on it right now.

notorious tintz has a insurance policy for tint. if you get a ticket they will pull it off and replace it after its "fixed". i havent had any troubles for my 35 up front and plenty of cops see it. they dont even mention my tinted plate cover anymore

Welcome Andy!!!
alot of eye doctors will give u a precription. u just have too pay. but even with a prescription u still have the hassle of being pulled over in the first place. on my old impala i had the lightest tint on all windows and had the windshield done also. it was so light i never got bothered. ive had other cars with the fronts done in limo and had nothing but problems with police. i dont even bother with tinting the fronts anymore. it too big of a pita to be pulled over for.

15 is the bare bones I'd take as it sits. Actually that's just above trade-in with a lot of coin in mods.
Anything less it wouldn't be worth it to me. Actually is stored right now and I've debated just trading it in with my second car to get something sensible. However can't bring myself to do it yet.

Welcome Andy. I see you are a lady soooo watch out for those internet leg hummers
Alan, with a prescription I think it said 35 is the limit on the fronts when I looked it up online. With that being said I just had a ticket written off and the officer looked up the tint limit with a prescription and he said there wasn't any soooo take it how you want hah.
