Lmao, yeah. Supposedly? A lot of people don't like it after spending all that dough on it though.

I want to invest in one that replaces the plastic part of our shifter, but uses our knob. I like the OEM look.
There's a couple of options for that, but I forget what they are off the top of my head.

EDIT: It's BPS.

But yeah, if you're interested in a STS, I'd check out that Hurst that Hiro is offering you.

Not a fan of aftermarket shifters for this car, though TWM is the best. Get the LNF shifter bracket then solid shifter bushings and go from there.

Thats what he said

and yes, it will tighten it up a lot. If I drove a stick I would do a STS and solid bushings

yeah it's pretty sweet, I'm still too lazy to check and see if I have solid shifter bushings but I reckon I do. I'm not sure why the dude that owned it before me dropped $300 on a short shifter but not an intake or anything else other than a $800 radio and $400 speaker set up

ZZP carries the bracket, but you can get it at the dealer for cost price.. like $22.
OTTP carries base bushings. Reason I recommend them is because you're local and you could and pick them up from Josh@ottp.

Gonna take my chance on the Billet Pro Shop STS, which comes with base bushings for $200.
I'd probably get the TWM clamp after, then do the LNF bracket.

For what?
All you need is the boost gauge really. It's just my personal opinion but that's overkill and unnecessary on a mostly stock or very lightly modded car. And reeks of desperation to mod your car just to mod it. Save the cash and build your motor...so you have something that NEEDS triple gauges.

At least that's how i look at it.

Man that is so true now that you say that. I know I want to upgrade the shifter and I know some of the stuff u guys talk about but some goes over my head. The twm looks amazing but idk if I can justify spending like $270 on a shifter. I mean yes it's probably amazing, but idk.

I guess I'm looking on zzp at these shifter bushings that go behind the left front tire to help play, and some other stuff. I guess I'll figure it out by asking questions and kinda getting links. But I know this, I want a new shifter boot, the top of the shifter to be different, and tight gears where there isn't an inch of play while it's in gear.

Honestly if you want more gauges I would swap your A pillar out for a base model and do like a single/dual bezel pod. IMO it is a very clean addition that isnt overkill. Do just like a boost and wideband gauge. When I finally get around to redoing my setup I am making another dual bezel with 2 Prosport EVO model gauges, probably in either blue or white.

ZZP doesn't have base bushings. You must be looking at the LNF shifter bracket. I said a couple posts up that you can grab the same part at the dealer at cost, about $22.

OTTP has base bushings that you can go pick up.

I may do this then. Idk what I was looking at, I'll go to the dealer . Are these base bushings at the dealer aftermarket or what because I'd think they would give me the same oem ones I have. Idk it's confusing sorry.

As for the pillar I like my boost gauge, love it. I just wish I had another gauge, idk what for maybe fuel air ratio or idk. Guess I like the look of something besides one single gauge

Triple gauge pod FTW. Boost, air/fuel and an interceptor, everything you could ask for lol. Even if you do just the solid bushings, the difference was like night and day. I love'em, haven't missed a gear since i've had them and they've got close to a hundred track passes on them lol

But I have to ask, what's the benefit of gettin a hurst shifter instead of doing this
