Me and Nate are the only ones I can think of with RL's that post in the Michigan thread. Probably another one or two.

Also reposting from RLF:
So I took my RL to a shop to have them figure out if it was my control arms, axles, or engine mounts making the creaking and clunking noises, and they told me it was my engine mounts since they weren't firm enough and they let the engine move all over. Since this was the cheapest fix of the bunch, I figured that they were being honest and thanked them for their time, and ordered stage II rotated mounts from Powell. This got rid of the clunking that occurred when I shifted and when I reversed, however there remains a creaking sound when I turn at low speeds.

I'm assuming that this is the control arms, so instead of replacing just the bushing, I have some money so I thought I'd upgrade to FE5 control arms from the LNF's and save $60 over buying the FE5's from the LSJs on CED. The question now is, which ones are the best bang for their buck and which ones am I most likely to need? John, do you have any FE5 control arms with your fancy bushings available and if so, how much? Is there a better deal out there compared to CED? Should I just replace my endlinks and tierod ends while I'm thinking about it?

Also while I'm asking questions, I just replaced my trans 5,000 miles ago, and I noticed that coming out of first gear is a bit rough, the clutch looked fine when I had it out and I don't dink around with treating the clutch properly, so I'm beginning to worry it's the differential again. Either that, or after 5 years of driving manual, it turns out I'm terrible at it. I remember a few complaints about the F35 having a really "loose" differential but I just want to make sure before I begin planning on changing the clutch/upgrading to an LSD'd trans.

Note: my rear caliper has been leaking (getting fixed soon) and I noticed it gets worse the lower the brake fluid got, then when I topped it off and pumped the clutch it got better. Do you guys reckon once I fix the caliper and bleed the brakes I should try to bleed the clutch too?

I'm guessing the clunking noise is the end links, mine did the same thing til I got them replaced. As far as the control arms go, if you have the cash get the FE5's with spherical bushings. While I have no experience with these, everyone seems to rave about it after they get it.

Yea, moog or powergrid would be your best bet. Pretty sure the powergrids like never wear out, but the moogs are hellacheap.

I may go Moog for now. I just noticed that the Spherical bushings are like $200 but with how much people rave about them I'm debating getting them while I'm replacing the CA's

edit: if PGs don't die then heck I'll take those lol

I got distracted during my research and bought an LED dome light and red LED instrument panel lights.

I was looking into modifying the instrument panel but that's alot of work and I'm colourblind already, trying to switch out the stock white lamps for red ones for better nightvision haha.

Stranded at uni waiting for my brother, why did I agree to ride with him today.

So I let my gf use the car today, and she thought it would be a good idea to curb my front right rim...

I say let the Saturns come and play. Who cares about a calendar picture? If it matters then no problem just leave them out of the picture but I feel they should totally be a part of our group/gatherings, we are all deltas. Just saying.

Don't be so racist
LOL

but, anywho. I caved and didn't have the heart to put my car back to stock for winter today, so it's still stanced. When do you guys want to do this meet/picture gathering?
