No...finally broke the bolts loose and the darn O2 sensor wouldn't come off. The thing is like welded on there. Sonofabitch.

I'm going to give it one more shot on either Tuesday or Wednesday when I've got some free time and if it doesn't come off I'm down to try anything. In fact I had a strange thought. What if I just cut the dang O2 wire and then take it off while the downpipe is off the car and then put the wire back together with some connectors and shrink wrap? I know...ghetto as F***...but at this point I could care less...

Follow the wire up to the plug. It should be up by the transmission. Unplug it and put the nut section of it in a vice. Spin it out and then put it in the new one.

I had that thought, but by that time I was already late for something so we put her back on and said we'd give it another shot another time. That will be my course of action on Wednesday.

Rs and I just unplugged mine that's how he knows where out is.even withall the garbage rs and I did it in about two and a half hours.

I might be able to do that. I'll PM you later today. I need to get some more bolts and nuts from the dealer today for my downpipe before I can tackle it. I stripped one of the nuts putting the downpipe back on and there's a slight leak now. Plus most of them are rusted to heck and I'd like to get some fresh ones to put on there and put some anti-seize on 'em so this crap doesn't happen again...stupid winter...

and if you didnt know, I was the kid wiht the orange balt

We did get all the bolts out, just not the O2. And then when I was putting everything back together when I had to leave, I stripped the top right bolt so I only have three out of four bolts holding my downpipe in on the turbo side. I mean it's on there, it just leaks where the bolt's missing. The new ones are only like 4 bucks at the dealer so I'm just going to get all new ones and replace each one so that when I have to put my stocker on for emissions, I don't have to go through this PIA process again.
