Jimmy, have you also checked the boots on the axle? Look for any rips, cuts, chunks missing from it. It is possible that it is a cv joint in the axle (either side of it on side where the noise is) or possibly a wheel bearing is starting to go.

Does it change pitch when you take a corner fast? Oh, like on Lake Rd just past Sealy heading south?

Jimmy may sound stupid but check to see if the lug nuts are all tight. If not that look at the bearing and tire components. Could be anything though. I agree with lifter get a passenger to listen or let them drive and u listen. Good luck!

Or a control arm bushing. The bushings on the LSJs are absolute junk. I just had to change mine out.

guys,
just an update and a few things.... Lifter I remember your bro checked my control arm bushings and my joints and said they were good, no problems there. I also checked the lug nuts and they are secure. Like I was saying, the only time I hear the buzzing is when I am pressing the gas pedal when I am moving. Not while in park and also not while I have let off the gas and am coasting. All of this leads me to believe that it has something to do with air coming in through the airbox and filter, but Im still learning my way around an engine and am not smart enough to figure it out myself lol. Maybe I am retarded and its just the way its always sounded, but maybe somebody localy could take a ride with me and tell me what they think before I go and spend any money.....

Thinking about doing that over the winter as well, really like the sound of the MPx exhaust. My Borla muffler sounds nice, but it just feels like a hacked setup with a wrong size muffler kinda hacked and welded in there. I like the quetness at idle and the cruising sound but not really how it sounds at WOT.

I'm just worried about performance. 2.5 all the way back now with a Magnaflow cat and a borla muffler. Not a huge difference, but definitely noticeable.

Saddens me to think that I need to buy winter tires again soon =(

I got an over-the-axle pipe and a borla muffler for 180 shipped. That's pretty cheap.

mandrelexhaustsystems.com

And my bro' can put it on for you in like 10 minutes for dirt cheap.

i just wouldnt be able to get **** for my current set, even though the tires have like 4k miles on em. id probably be able to snag 500 MAX, which wouldnt even cover the cost of tires on the 17's
