I agree a stock c6 right of the showroom floor has enough hp to rip its tires off. 400 hp stock with no goodies and some can be found in the 20 thousands range but I do like my cobalt.

Well, the summer wheels are on. Put them on and greased up the rear brakes. Just a good reminder to all the TC drivers on here, its a good time to check to make sure that the sliders have some lube on them. Mine started to act up in the last week or two, so today was a good day to check them. They were dry again. Its amazing how the car now feels when compared to the Blizzaks.
And on Monday, car seat #2 goes in the car!!!!!!

That's awesome, nothin like havin a couple of riders to appreciate ur driving. I'm sure the TC's suspension isn't too tight where it would keep the kids up lols

Im not sure if you live in the area but in Austintown theres a place called Monroe Muffler and its on Mahoning ave. But literally just bring your car there and they will cut the muffler out and weld in a straightpipe and use clamps and everything. My buddy paid 60 bucks for them to cut out his stock muffler and put in a magnaflow. Its cheap and they do it fast(literally in like 1/2 hour depending on how busy they are) and they do a great job.

a 400 hp vette is not fast. Only z06's tickle my fancy and id still rather surprise the **** out of people in the cobalt. Its going to take one nasty vette to be able to keep up with me come summer.

No I have the stock map's I'm pretty sure. But I would suggest getting any mods you plan.on getting before you get a tune. It becomes a whole different car when you get a tune. I noticed a huge difference and I went from a trifecta 23psi tune to the HP. What mods have you done so far?

Oh okay. Nothing haha I was always concerned about warranty and what not but now im pretty much forgetting about it and doing what i want. Nothing crazy probably a catless downpipe and the K&N SRI with a tune. I have a K&N drop-in filter now which gave it a tiny bit more power i noticed maybe lol I always came close to pulling the trigger on buying things now im actually going to do it!

The dejon isnt really giving problems, it just throws fuel trims off too much an is too speratic, just annoying really lol
Im hoping the timin was due to the gas that the previous owner filled it with. I can get 17* outta mine no problem. What couldnt we pass on urs, 14*? Next time we tune im sure we can get more.

Maybe not for you but 400 hp for the average driver is way fast enough. I am not saying that it is not cool to outrun people in a cobalt but for looks alone I believe that you can not beat a vette! Really a z06 can be found at a decent price nowadays. I hope to see your balt out soon this spring or summer I live right near summit racing so maybe on route 8 or around.
