you need to remember young one... we hang out in a group where being slow is 400hp. There is absolutely no greater satisfaction than taking down cocky v8 guys in the econo box!
Maybe not for you but 400 hp for the average driver is way fast enough. I am not saying that it is not cool to outrun people in a cobalt but for looks alone I believe that you can not beat a vette! Really a z06 can be found at a decent price nowadays. I hope to see your balt out soon this spring or summer I live right near summit racing so maybe on route 8 or around.
Vettes are sexy as hell, and if everyone wasnt buying them I would consider one. Drove a c6 Z06 and man was that one fun car, thing gets down for sure. Nothing puts more of a smile on my face when I destroyed him by football fields in my neon

Im not sure if you live in the area but in Austintown theres a place called Monroe Muffler and its on Mahoning ave. But literally just bring your car there and they will cut the muffler out and weld in a straightpipe and use clamps and everything. My buddy paid 60 bucks for them to cut out his stock muffler and put in a magnaflow. Its cheap and they do it fast(literally in like 1/2 hour depending on how busy they are) and they do a great job.
The shop up here cut off the muffler, and cut the tip off the muffler, welded in a new pipe, added a hanger, welded the stock tip on it, and gave it back to me in 20 minutes and it cost me $25. LOL
Also, don't forget that's got ZZP rotated mounts in it too.

The dejon isnt really giving problems, it just throws fuel trims off too much an is too speratic, just annoying really lol
Im hoping the timin was due to the gas that the previous owner filled it with. I can get 17* outta mine no problem. What couldnt we pass on urs, 14*? Next time we tune im sure we can get more.

Hey Nick,

Well you got an awesome price on the muffler delete and it looks like its pretty good quality. And I was actually just looking at the stock mounts yesterday and being really happy that the zzp mounts are in there lol. And yep were all doing good. Hope your drive back wasn't too bad?

Stock C6 z06 record is what 10.98? And a base model LS3 is 11.7 or something like that. Doesnt seem to slow to me, I would trade my GTO for a Z06 in a heart beat. Set of heads and a cam and be done with it. For someone to pull football fields on a car that traps 130 stock would take a pretty fast SRT.

but the vette was stock or maybe had an exhaust i cant remember. quarter mile times dont factor into roll racing. plus they are 2 different animals with different gearing. was fun to just run a friend, nothing more nothing less

That is such bs stupid echeck had to lose some goodies last year to pass. Stupid p0170 code means needs tuned to turn off said code stupid echeck I hate you! Hmmm tommy you only live a stones throw away and don't have to check what gives?
