That will turn out well just from the sounds of it, hopefully shes all back together and ready for the road so I can see your car again. I am still holding you to takin me for a ride to show me what my LNF could be years down the road. This will happen when I find out where they are hiding that thing called money lol.................... but for now I will be stuck on stock turbo for atleast the next year or 2

If you don't mind me asking what is your best 1/4 mile time being stock?

I am not sure where case is but I am about 30 minutes east of cleveland if that, & thompson raceway park is like 10 minutes away from me. Theres nice roads to do pulls on around here but there are also a lot of roads that I refuse to drive my car down. Don't worry I wouldn't advise you to go down a road that I wouldn't tear up w/my own car.
Was that 13.7 w/a tune also?
I love watchin ppl race & don't have a clue on what they are doing but think they are the **** because in the right hands their high hp car is fast but when they drive it its a full second+ slower.................. rofl! I may not be mr. mechanic but I know I can drive my own car fairly well, atleast in a straight line I would love to try some AutoX/rpad races but I don't have the money to do that so for now I am just another street racer/ straight line junkie

Case is up in Cleveland. It's about 45 minutes or so from Akron, where I am.
Superfly is weird. They don't do AutoX right. Just a bunch of people AutoXing against each other. They don't enforce helmet rules, or classes. Meh.
I'll probably do NORA this year with Dirty. I might also put together (with Dirty as well) a Nelson's Ledges meet for an open track day. Obviously there's a charge, but if we get enough people, we can make it really affordable.

I am taking your advice, sort of. I don't need to be persuaded the the STi is a better car for me at this point in time. You're just reinforcing what I was already thinking.

I'd be all for a track day at Nelson, it's only about 8 miles from my house.

If Superfly does it right, I'd be down. But I'm sure they won't be a NORA. Should tell your friend to take a look at NORA's site to get an idea of what rules should be enforced.
And also, they need a better location. The lot they are using now is unpaved, uneven, and small.
And yes, a Nelson's Ledges meet is certainly going to happen this year.

Thats impressive!
I would like to come to the ledges & atleast watch, it would be cool just to have a cobalt meet there regaurdless IMO. If I have the extra cash to replace brake pads right away I would like to race or do time trials. I am not aware of how they do things because I have never asked my buddy. Do they make you do practice laps w/an instructor? I believe I was told that by my buddy that does instructing there but don't qoute me on that.

They do course walks and a expert-commentated rookie walk. If u are a rookie u can request an instructor to ride along with you. You can also ride along with someone else u can do that too. If u suck ass and get lost in the cones, they will ride along with you to help straighten it out.
The rookie walks are mandatory.
This is NORA I'm speaking of.

I don't even know what used projectors sell for? Is $100 fair? I think you should get black personally, I wish I had black ones though. They would look a lot nicer with the tinted tail lights.

You gotta go for what you want man, if you want black ones go for it. Don't settle or you won't be happy. Honestly I'd stay away from the aftermarket projectors and save your money to do a retrofit. The beam pattern in these things suck. Light output is decent but the hotspots and a poor cutoff kill it for me.

ahhh retro fit would require i take the headlight housing apart right? lol i already did it, it would be nearly impossible to take them apart again. yeah, i may go with the HID conversion from buyhids.com, one of the vendors.
