Drew

I ordered the powder today, here is the color that I bought:
Hotcoat Powder New Smoke Chrome 5lbs

It will be very similar to the new wheels lifter just bought. I know that other places are wanting $100 to $140 a wheel now to powder coat them. I have checked around. I almost shipped them to Cali to get Black Chrome, but I am cheap. That is $175 or so.

I thought the HHR SS wheel was only 7" wide???

Those will look nice lifter, would like to see them once you get them on and Dirty's new set.

Oh ya, and I have to get new summer tires too, can't drive on rims alone.

Any ways, I wanted to go as wide as possible with out having rubbing issues. 235s should be good enough. The MSR 045s are 18x8.
Haha, I just put 235's on my 18x7.5's. They sit perfectly flush with the flange. Hopefully it works out, they seem to be just peachy. Thanks for making me worry about it though

Those wheels will look crazy nice with some coilovers and a window tint.

yeah a big heavy car like an Evo X needs all that tire just to be competitive in the corners with me on my 255's.

oh i see, you have to buy the coat online first, then get someone to put it on, and they charge like 100+ per tire...

you were gona ship them to cali? wouldnt shipping and such rape ur fundage? i guess thats why you said you were cheap.. hmmm

Nice! Now I don't have to worry about the responsibility of setting this up with Dirty. =)

@ Ch1cken; Ask Dirty about the whole 235 width thing. He understands it more than I, but he just told me it's not safe. He can explain it more lol

I remember you guys talking about it in this thread and my buddy I refered to is the one the races and is an instructor there, he is the one setting this up. He is a good guy & just wants the locals to have a good time, meet some new ppl and see what everyone can do on the track.

Thread LINK I posted for this little event-

Drew, for the $100 or a wheel, that includes the powder if it is a normal color. The special colors are more.

Shipping to Cali would only be $25 a wheel or close to that. I just don't want to spend that much on the wheels and then buy new tires also. Good tires for this car are not cheap. I am not going with the RE11 like Dirty, don't have that kind of money or his company discount

I do have a little one to get stuff for (reason I am cheap again), and she loves her new racing car seat.

Why not use the guy in Akron that does everyone's honda parts. He is the one that will probably do my baby moon rims for the HHR in BRIGHT RED.

Greg, he is doing henry's new turbo header and downpipe.
