their is now a new ss in Wadsworth its black has some plate like iwhine or whining or something like that. then their is a burnt orange one. i was kinda hopping to get everyone to applebes in the Wadsworth one of these days

Yep, sounds like either street racing or road rage. Neither of those are good things.
So, was anyone with a Red SS coupe with dark wheels on 224 yesterday heading east between 1230 and 100 pm. I made your head and the passangers head turn really fast!!! You where heading east and I was heading west.

Well theres a good chance I wired it wrong. it came with with 2 power wires, one for the battery and one for the reg 12v hook up. i think the battery one is also labeled ACC for accessory.
and that guy was definitely not wearing his seatbelt, no one get ejected from a car wearing a seatbelt.

Standard color codes should still apply. If you're using a metra harness just match the colors. If ACC was hooked to constant +12v, the radio wouldn't shut off when you turn the key off.

yeah i just looked at the book and it tells me to wire both to the battery. Only thing is there is no wire for ACC on the harness. And the yellow is not the ACC wire. ACC is red and the battery/12v wire is yellow.

I don't think there is an easy fix for that Lifter. I know when I had the Chevelle's rear ones apart, the parking brake stayed together. It might just be easier and cheaper to buy a new caliper than to try and fix that.
There will be o rings in there, don't know if they will be rubber, viton, or what. I did see something about a copper gasket somewhere in the caliper too. I am not sure but there might be bushings or something along those lines that might have worn out on around the shaft.
Did you feel any play on the shaft when you looking at?

but yeah he was an alright kid didnt hang out with him too much out side of shows and i never drove with him so i cant say anythign about that
