alright guys still calling and getting the best deal on a hotel. so stay posted! have one by the end of this week. We had one on lock but apparently traffic from there is horrible. So were trying to get the best deal somewhere else

there is a bunch of little hotels, you dont really need a hilton inn, a quality inn on the waterfront.. your better off find a virginia beach tourist guide and lookin in it.

 

thats what were doing. were not getting any waterfront hotel. There about 20 minutes away. Found one for like 80 a night after tax with 4 people in a room. So thatll be cheap. and its right on the interstate and near the dyno and everything. But seeing if we can get anywhere else thatll offer us more

 

so its looking like this meet is going to have more cobalts than the dragon meet......... ECC FTW!!

 

look for hotels on greenbriar rd or battlefield blvd in chesapeake.. both roads are close to the dyno shop and bout 20mins to va beach

OK, for those wanting a Dyno Day.... (aka put up or shut up!)

Got this setup for Sat., 8/28 at All Aspects Motorsports. DynoJet.

Start time: 8:00 a.m. 'till last car done. If you're late, too bad.

Cost: Only $45 for 3 pulls with AFR.

At least 10 cars to get this price! In Feb., we had around 20 and were done by noon.

We will have you sign up on a list. I will keep track of all runs, get the data (I have the DynoJet software!) and after the meet email everyone their printout. No printouts the day of event to keep things moving. Phone #s will be requested if there is a question of name and email, 'cause everyone can't write that good!

so well start off saturday morning with a dyno day.

And no the prices wont be going up. Expect to pay like $20 a night per person for a hotel. Super cheap. Trying to find the best deals. But other then that everything is looking good So far it seems like a good turnout. Hopefully even more people will make it out

 

Prices shouldn't go up if the hotel gets locked in. Va Beach is a tourist summer area. The end of August is towards the end of vacation season and hotel vacancies would be going down, hence less demand and lower prices.

i need to get my intercooler fixed! hopefully ill have it done by then. but im not spending 45 bucks on a dyno with a cracked intercooler lmao

 

I'm sure that a boat load of us will hop on that dyno again. I'll try to get names onto that dyno list. All Aspects Motorsports is a pretty cool place. It's kind of on the water actually. They're more known for the STI crowd but Cobalts are starting to overwhelm that shop. First the NVE dyno day and now this. Should be an interesting sight.

Kevin, if we do this correctly this should be as big as the D&B meet a while back. I know I can promise turn out from Northern Virginia. We just need to reach out to these other states and spread the word.
