That`s a long trip to sorta be pushed to the side.
Parking with other HHR`s sounds reasonable, but along a fence is kinda harsh...

I thought it was a Ecotec/Cobalt meet, that`s the first word I had gotten, so I didn`t think that my HHR S/S would be put on the outside of a fence and in mud /grass.

Don't worry, park where you can and there is plenty of room for all. Trust me

My co-pilot was asking about the meet earlier, what kind of activities, was it a shine-show, what types of cars would be there? I`d really been looking forward to putting my car on the road, but I wanted to see how other attendees were reacting to "other-thans" being involved, I dare say that the outlook is grim.
5.5hrs one way is a lot of time to worry about what awaits at the meet.

Whoever said people will be pushed aside is WRONG. This is a friendly meet where all are welcome and unless people bitch, we'll all be mixed up. There is no need to seperate people by make/model. It's turned into a newer GM Small Car Bash.

and there is so grassy area, everything is paved.. where you got that idea from i have no idea. There are two ltos right next to each other. One is used to store excess inventory and the other is to sell cars. We get them both, there is no grassy parking. there's a fence that separated the two, with two huge sliding gates that will be open on both ends of the lot. This is nuts, i dont want to be held responsible for anyone who gets upset that there not parked by the action or whatever. Still a free country last time i checked, park where you want when you want. Want a closer spot get there earlier is my opinion, but ill follow any rule on telling people generally where to park.
rough draft of the dealer plaque, i have to send this in tomorrow, i only wrote it up in a couple second

Germain Chevrolet should be bolded, not italic'd. IMO.
To me, audio is audio.
Someone could have a awesome interior, with a stock audio system, or vice versa
How about I buy the cincy guys a case of and we call it a day?
No fighting!

Not sure why people are worried about "others" at the meet. I'm the one coordinating everything, with some tasks delegated to some fellow members to lighten the load on me. We are having a car show, (voted by attendees) so this meet may be a couple awards for non-cobalts until we get more coming. By all means, come out, hang out, grill out (well maybe nto at Germain), have fun. We're essentially just getting together to talk cars, look at what others have done etc. There are some small activities such as corn hole, water balloon toss. Typical outdoor party games. On top of that we are having some vendors and sponsors come out to spread the word on their products, upcoming concepts , and answer your questions first hand. It will be well worth it.
Then there's the hotel after party..... (check link in first post)
Thank you for all the help on this Ryan
