Why are lips ""?
Since when is letting less air under your car (therefore creating less lift) and giving it a lower, more agressive look a bad thing?
And I want it b/c:
a. It will add a bit more aggresiveness to the front of my car.
and
b. I bottomed out my front bumper in a parking garage and scraped paint off my front bumper a few months ago. Thankfully, I did it right where the lip would cover it if I had the lip installed.
Thats what she said
C'mon Jess, you knew me of all people was gonna be the one to say it.....

oh, and they don't make a cf lip for a Cobalt yet. People have been trying to get comapnies to make one for years now....still nothing.
But yeah, i'm getting it sheerly for the cosmetic factor. I was just using the little "lift" lesson to back my story on why front lips are nice to have.

But hey Keith, how about a new Cobalt-Addiction strut bar? You can get silver one with blue writing on it to match your car. And the Cobalt Addiction XTC cold air intake. Once again, you can get it with blue silicon couplers and filter to match your car.
The strut bar is $95 and the intake $180. Just an idea.
But in all honesty, I really liked your old setup.....the K&N CAI and the DC strut bar

here you go: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...=151172&page=2
Read what Maven and Area47 say.
I'm not saying you shouldn't get a strut bar. I mean I have one. But don't expect any handling difference whatsoever. On our cars they're strictly cosmetic. And thats pretty much why I bought mine.....as something extra to look at when I open the hood.

Strut bars do nothing on our cars. Our strut towers are welded to our firewalls so they can't flex like say....a Honda's strut towers would. Let me pull up the thread where this is discusin sed great detail by Maven and Area47....

IMO, the best intake for your car is the RAW 3" and the best strut bar for our cars is the JBP.
Heres a link for the JBP front strut bar: http://www.jbodyperformance.com/new/...catName=JP0906
It wasn't out way back when I bought the DC Sports strut bar. If it had been, I def would've gotten it. But i've aready got the DC strut bar on and i'm too broke to afford switching out something for a part I already have basically, Its $130, which isn't too bad, but its worth it.

nd since i read the info on the strutbar i prolly wont be buying one
