I'd have to think about it due to the fact that I live pretty far away.

Well, I've never put any money on my Motorweb.com card, and I need new shocks/struts (mine are pretty ragged out after 60k.....most of which I was lowered on Sportlines), and now that I have a consistent flow of income, I think I might bite the bullet and order the K-Sport Kontrol Pro coilovers. They'll be $52 a month through the Motorweb.com finance program. This will also give me that stance I've been yearning for since the Sportlines fell rather short of the drop I desired. What do you guys think?

I'd go for the coilovers man, if that's what you're thinking.

Its either full coilovers (which I'd finance) or KYB GR-2's, which I'd just save up for. But if I get the coilovers I could lower my car a bit more like I've been wanting to, and also have the ability to sell my Sportlines and make a little bit of money off of them.

Yeah, then def. go with the coilovers esp. since they will make your car lower like you want. You want to be happy with your ride height.

Josh honestly if your gonna spend the money man, dont buy the k sports.... I would go with some of the better set ups because it will be a better and fine tuned height and it wont be as harsh of a ride

Max:

A. K-Sports are perfectly fine. Their circuit spec RSX wins competitions left and right with no problems. And i've ridden in several K-Sport equipped cars (a WRX and a 240SX), and both rode great and handled suprebly.

B. The K-Sports are 36 way rebound/dampening adjustable and are ride height adjustable. They also include pillow ball mounts that I can adjust the camber on the fly from.

C. I think what everyone is missing is that I CANNOT AFFORD TO BUY COILOVERS OUTRIGHT. Even when I had a great job, I still couldn't swing $1,000. I just have too many bills. The ONLY WAY I can get coilovers is by financing them. I already have an account through Motorweb.com, and they offer all the different model K-Sport coilovers for Cobalts on their site. That makes these the ONLY coilovers I have the ability to finance. That being said....

K-Sports it is.

I don't want advice on the product. I already know all the in's and out's about aftermarket parts and whatnot. I've worked on everything from domestic sport compacts to imports to euros and everything in between, and I subscribe to Super Street, Import Tuner, Sport Compact Car, Turbo, Modified and Grassroots Motorsports.....so I know my stuff

I just wanted advice on what to do with my given situation. As in buy the coilovers......or not buy coilovers. Given my situation.

But thank you Max. I know you were just trying to put your two cents in.

Also, I just ordered my new exhaust gaskets from ARK, so hopefully I can get rid of this nasty hiss I have right now and have that crisp exhaust note we all came to love back in time for the meet. Also, my friend Brett, who does professional painting on the side, is gonna do my interior trim flat black hopefully next week
