Have you ever installed vertical doors on a Cobalt Phil? Or any car for that matter? Or are you just speaking from assumption and/or what you've read?

I'm just saying........
I can go get an issue of Sport Compact Car and read up on an install that they would consider "simple and easy"...........and then have it wind up being a huge pain in the ass. My full exhaust for example......should have been ALOT easier than it was. But thanks to incorrect provided hardware and cross threaded holes on the header/downpipe, the whole process became a huge pain in the ass.
Only speak from experience, not assumption.

u have to extend the wiring harnesses a foot on each side...........i didnt want to crimp connect so i soldiered each wire one by one and it took at forever......there are 0-30 lil wires in each harness on each side.......then you have to line up the bracket..........trim the fender, adjust the bracket, cut the bracket down, bend the fender, paint the inside of the fender, modify the wheel wells, etc, etc, etc,
thats obviously not a complete step by step im not in the mood to type it all up but it was a PITA.......and i did it in my driveway, no lifts, no "professional" tools
and i decided do it once and do it right.......i also ripped apart my doors and the rear dash to put in black leather to get rid of the cloth and did my sound system so it was prob like 25 hours for the doors

lol bud maybe you need to check where this hardware is supposed to go... Its no easy job by any means and i can promise you 80% of this forum couldnt do it....Its not just as easy to put in a bracket here and there and tighten it up, you need to put the bracket in a place it isnt possible from a stock car to tighten down so you need to take alot of **** off...
