im getting tints next month and my question for you guys is do you have tint on your cobalt? if so how dark, whered you get it done, price, and POLICE trouble?

I used to live in Dayton. I ran around with 20% tint with no issues from the cops or anything. I got it done at Ziebart. They did a good job and had a lifetime guarantee. I think they did it for like $150 or so.

akron here.. and i have 5% all the way around.. never had any attention except for 1 lady havin a bad day one one time.. but at the same time i think she gave me the lightest of all the tickets because i have no front license plate ( warning) and my gf wasnt wearin her seat belt.. thanx babe.. and had her window down so she pulled me over for the originally but then got me for tint.. 90 bux

Sandusky area, 35 on the driver and pass. 15 on the rears. Have been pulled over once by a statie got away with only a verbal warning. I just put them down when ever I see a cop as long as they arent somewhere to see me put them down.

I have 20% all the way around. havent had any problems with cops. I got mine done in mentor oh off Tyler Blvd. I cant remember the shop name right now but they were really good. I think the original price from them was $220 but I used the classic ford discount(i have a friend who works in service) and i paid $150

if your not planing on keeping your car for that long take a trip to your local swap shop/ flea market and get it done for like 60 bucks, whole car.



the tint is **** tho. had multiple cars done at flea markets, they do good work. shitty tint.

I can honestly say I have not idea how dark my tint is. I think it's 35% or less, could be 15, hell idk. It came on the car. Anyways, I've never had any trouble from cops, and I drive past one at least once or twice a day. If anyone would like to take a guess at what % it is I'd appreciate it

Yup thats the place, I couldn't remember the name right off the top of my head. They did a real good job. I brought my car to them at ten, I had it back by noon. It seems they are a bit pricier than the everyone else, but they do such a good job its worth it.

The lower the percentage the harder it is to see. Its all really opinion. I know people who have 5% and love it and claim to have no problems seeing. I have 20% and sometimes I have trouble at night when im backing up. Other than that I never have a problem seeing out of the tinted windows.

Like cmiller said, its 50% but the places will put on whatever tint you want. I know with Solar Solutions, I had to sign a waiver saying I couldn't sue them if i got pulled over for my tint.

i have 35% in the front and 20 all back windows... ive never gotten a TINT TICKET.... whenever im in ohio i use my active army ID and i usually get out of anything lol... im very greatful and respectful... plus its rare that active duty soldiers come through ohio

I have 35 on my front windshield, front 2, and 15 on the rear and a limo sunstrip... never been messed with, if your worried about it, just open your sunshade if you have a sunroof, it will make it lighter

I had 20% all around and got busted 3 times in 2 months i had tint. I said **** it and took it off the driver/passenger. Funny thing, Dani has 20% all around on her cobalt for 3 years now. Nothing.

I'm no longer living in Huber Heights or near Springfield so I'm getting it redone

It all depends on where ur at and if you run across a ******* cop. State law is 50 on front doors and whatever you want on the back windows. Heres the catch each city,township has their own local laws so you will be ok in one place, drive 5 minutes into another town and getta ticket. I live in elyria and have 35 and 20 on mine and got a ticket. There is only 1 cop in elyria who enforces the tint issue, im not gonna name drop but anybody from this area knows who it is.

ive been trying to find out about tinting your tails? some say they have to reflect and some say light just has to shine through. can someone help me out before i do it.

Well I live in willoughby hills and I smoked out my taillights and have never gotten in trouble once for them not even pulled over, and they are blackkkkk
