I was wonding if someone could help me make up my mind. Should i buy a new SS TC or add some performance parts to my 2006 SS 2.4. I was lookin at cams and some other stuff. I already have a injen cold air intake and a GMPP cat back but i want more power. What should i do?

Look at how much you can afford. Then make sure you get enough to at least pay off your current loan with hopefully a little left over for a downpayment (don't trade int he 2.4 for less then you owe!). Then see if you can afford the payment. If so, then you should buy it. if not, then be happy with what you have.

I've been debating for a while now and I think I'll probably trade in. Although I am waiting until late winter/early spring 2009 to do it. The main reasons for that are to pay down my current note (I should break pretty much even by then) and to have a nice down payment built up. I liked my LS when I got it but it's way to basic/option-less for me, so this would be an awesome upgrade.

Just make sure it would work out financially for you.

Id personally go for a TC, if I had the cash right now, id love to buy one myself. Hell, id like to just have the wheels off of the TC to put on my 2.4,

I personally feel you should buy my 2006 Cobalt SS supercharged. Only 9k miles, stage II, GMP exhaust, GMP manifold, B&M short throw, Exedy Stage 3 clutch/flywheel, ZZP downpipe with highflow cat. Still smells new and is garage kept. Never even seen winter. I'll even throw in a new set of BFG Drag radials mounted and balanced on 17" wheels.
