The cruisin' downriver starts at 10, and i'll probably be out there at noon til whenever we leave. The StreetWarriorz event doesnt start til 4pm.

Are you rolling from the Home Depot down to Fort Street? Have anywhere on Fort Street you plan to park, anywhere else we should all re-meet for the cruise down to Milan? Need some more cemented plans quick, this event is 2 days away.

I'll start out: Let's say meet at the Home Depot between 11 and 12. Leave at noon and head to Fort Street no matter who's there or still on their way. Good start?

OK, so are you guys all planning on doing the downriver cruise too?

I was just planning on Milan, man this day keeps on getting longer, lol. I guess I'll hafta take it easy Friday night if I hafta get up and wash/wax so early.

We should def, plan a re-meet if so many people are planning on doing the downriver cruise. Any ideas on that? Time Place?

**** my bad didnt know it started till 4p....
Zen how many you have rolling w/ you @ the cruise?
SS33 you just coming down by yourself?

If it starts at 4p, meet up @4p @ home depot... only about a 1/2 drive, but hopefully most of the line would be filtered out by then, easier to get in...HOPEFULLY

I don't mind meeting and cruising around 12. I'll be coming with SS33 from Lansing. But I think 10 is a little early. Dammit, I guess this means I need to clean my car!!

It's late notice, but i updated the other cobalt/redline boards with the info.

I told them "meet at the Home Depot 11-12" basically. From there we can hit the cruise. I think we should probably re-meet around 3:30-4pm at the same parking lot we had the May 13th Cobalt/Redline meet at. (11500 Telegraph if i remember right?)

I dont have anyone personally with me, just a lot of people on all boards saying they're going to one event or the other or both. Just gotta try and get everyone coordinated.

I guess that settles it anyway: Meet at 11500 Telegraph (same parkinglot as the rainy meet) at 3:30pm. We'll leave there right around 4pm to head to Milan, so try not to lag!

If anyone thinks that Milan will be too crowded I plan on going to Lapeer drag way for test and tune for 25$ from 11am-1pm. This will be the first time running the SS at the track so I'm going to post like a 15.0 or higher. A couple of guys from my work are going and one wants to run his SRT8 Charger. I plan on going to the cruise after that.

On a side note I just got back from a trip down to Tennesse and I reset the MPG on the digital read out and at the end of myu fill up on the first tank with my buddie in the car which is about 300lbs and 250lbs worth of luggae in the trunk I got 33.5mpg at 72mph average and on the way back up with 89 octane 34.5mpg at 75mph average. My buddie riding in the car kept giving me the finger as he looked over at the digital read out because he drives a hemi 2500 truck that gets 17mpg on the highway. I kept laughing.
The only mod I have is the K and N intake and I changed the oil before we went.Intake I guess was well worth the money.

Don't go to Lapeer. The times are off and the end of the race way is full of chuck holes.

Heh, just us 4 so far. No responses from the other threads.

I'll update them with the more specific times for before and after the cruise.

So basically, meet at the Home Depot between 11 and 12 noon. Leave from there at noon sharp. Meet back at the previous rainy meet spot on 11500 Telegraph at 3:30pm. Leave from there at 4pm sharp to head to Milan. If anyone wants to catch up to us, that's where we'll be.

It'll be me and Patath caravaning from Lansing, but it'll be just me in my car probably.

Is there any chance of that noon time gettin pushed back a lil? maybe meet from like 12-1,, leave a little after 1?? I have trouble making it anywhere on a weekend before noon, lol

I'd like to, but its noon on all the other sites.

If you can try to be there by 12:30, i'm sure we can try and delay a little more. But its just less cruising time in the end with a later start.

No other responses yet, but i know people are looking. There's no telling how many cars will meet up at the 2 places before and after the cruising.

Oh yeah, should be a blast. Just gotta find a store that will sell me Toluene, so i can raise my octane out of the KR range. My car is just a big complainer now that the boost is raised.

Just to update this thread, I'll be at the cruise 11ish, home depot 12. Then off to Milan, I might not be able to meet up at telegraph because I'm picking someone up but we'll see. Otherwise I'll be at Milan right around the same time as everyone else.

The parking lot is to a small set of stores. It's 11500 Telegraph in Taylor, just south of I-94 (bout 2.5 miles south). Not sure if people are getting confused, but the Milan Street Warriorz event doesnt open its gates until 4pm. We plan to leave from the Telegraph parking lot at 4, and it should take 30 minutes to drive down, assuming 94 -> 23 south isnt block off or something.

On a side note, we're going to try and pick up one guy in Belleville at I-94 and Haggerty when we drive south to the cruise. This means we jog west on I-94 to get him, then hop back on and head East I-94. (this is assuming we're going 96E->275S->94E to get to the cruise)

I'll mention it again tomorrow, and i have to call him when we leave just to confirm as well.

Unknown how many people are going to show up at either meeting spot, but the word is out and if they want to come, they can show up. Trying to keep a good schedule so for the 4th time (just so people know for sure) the times we LEAVE each spot is Noon from Home Depot, and 4pm from 11500 Telegraph in Taylor.

(we may delay if someone has one of us and tells us they'll be delayed, we can try to wait a little)

My cell is 248-755-3078, if you really really need to call me for something (like you're a late comer but youre coming, and the cops are chasing you).
