alright deciding to go with the spec stage 3+ clutch for our cars. Gona do the trans swap soon. And hopefully give danew a hand on his motor and get that thing back on the road

Nothing but crap from Spec in my j-body time, a lot of the high power guys are running Bully clutches now, worth looking into at the least. I'd rock one though they're pricey IIRC. I see a lot of guys here having better luck with Spec too though, so hey!
Sorry Steve, I closed tonight and tomorrow night, and have brakes to do Friday after I get out at 6.

the head is pretty good. But I had to get it port matched to my header and intake manifold. So there will be slightly better flow now than what I had before. And you will see us around. You shouldn't be too far from me when you get here, that's where I stay.

I agree completely, I will never run an aluminum flywheel, I've seen way too many issues for the slight gain they might provide cutting off rotational mass. I've personally had a Spec clutch and Fidanza flywheel combo too.

i thought about that GM one but eventually im going to be well over 300whp so i dont wana have to do the swap twice. Connor hows the pedal feel and clutch engagement on the 3+ alot of chatter?
#245
No chatter. Pedal feels stiff. It'll soften after some time, but it'll take some time. Going from my car to my wife's with a stock clutch took some getting use to. I almost couldn't feel the peddle.

hmm good question.... and ill have to find out as well cause the main group is comming from northern VA. i wonder if i can get them to stop off here on the way to VA beach at Art's walmart and swoop us up
