Nothing but crap from Spec in my j-body time, a lot of the high power guys are running Bully clutches now, worth looking into at the least. I'd rock one though they're pricey IIRC. I see a lot of guys here having better luck with Spec too though, so hey!

Sorry Steve, I closed tonight and tomorrow night, and have brakes to do Friday after I get out at 6.

i too have heard this joe thats why at frist i wasnt gona go spec, but i talked to josh at OTTP and a few guys running them and if properly broken in right then there shouldnt be an issue. I was also told by a spec rep that if you get the clutches to make sure you get the + series or you will have problems. Plus im getting a decent deal for the clutch and im gona resurface my flywheel alot of people that have issue are using light weight flywheels that give and flex to much. Itll be the ultimate test tho because as much as i run my car if it holds for me itll hold for anyone

how do you like your head....
the head is pretty good. But I had to get it port matched to my header and intake manifold. So there will be slightly better flow now than what I had before. And you will see us around. You shouldn't be too far from me when you get here, that's where I stay.

I have Spec stage 3+. Good clutch. I also have the Spec flywheel. No problems so far.

I agree completely, I will never run an aluminum flywheel, I've seen way too many issues for the slight gain they might provide cutting off rotational mass. I've personally had a Spec clutch and Fidanza flywheel combo too.

No chatter. Pedal feels stiff. It'll soften after some time, but it'll take some time. Going from my car to my wife's with a stock clutch took some getting use to. I almost couldn't feel the peddle.
