By the way guys, all I got left is plastigage and gm assembly lube, so I'm good to go with the rebuild, hopefully tomorrow.

Wanna make a deal? Help me finish moving the dirt out of my driveway (pile is smaller than you saw today) and I'll help turn a few wrenches tomorrow.

Give me a call in the morning. If I don't answer it's probably because I'm working on the yard. Leave a text I'll get back to you.

How do you think I feel? If I showed you a list of the things I had to get for mine, your head would pop. I'm just glad I have a good job to help soften the blow.

It's all good man, like I said we're supposed to help each other out. The breaking up could be from a dirty maf.

Back in 08 was my first meet with what was then called "Domestic Disturbance." I'm so down for it. I just gotta check the wife's schedule cause it'd be fucked up if I went to a car show within 3 weeks of going to Afghanistanaland instead of spending time with her, ya know.

The car definitely won't be running by sunday, but we did start with probably the most important part; the clean up of the reciprocating parts. If not tomorrow, Thursday, we'll start building the bottom end. It really isn't as hard as I was thinking it should be.

I'm out this weekend. Gotta finish my list of things to do. Will mulch the north side yard tomorrow to keep the dirt in place when it rains. Next up, Parker's room needs painting. I want to get that done before going back to school next week.

I'm busy this weekend as well. This is my last weekend here for roughly 30 days. I'll be in Fallon NV again... Then when I get back the Enterprise is supposed to pull out of the yards for flight deck certification, I'm supposed to be going out there as well... (yeah right, I'll belive it when I see it)

But hopefully I'll get my downpipe, and strut bar this week so I can install them friday on my day off.

Almost done with my flowerbeds that runs along the entire north side of my house. Dirt is in place, stepping stones (all 32) are in place, and mulch is now down, as of tonight. Only things left are to finish the gate and put in some plants. The backyard is now ready to begin,....after the rain stops.

Now to get Parker's room done before Spring Break is over.

Sure you're not mixed with a bit of Mexican? You're doing a lot of landscaping work
