The cover was done with basic Krylon and cleared with engine enamel. All was relatively simple. Uninstalling HE wouldn't be worth the couple dollars and now I'm keeping it. Unless another buyer comes.

Hey you guys are pretty knowledgeable. I'm currently ready to go ahead and get a suspension setup. Coilovers. Being doing some research and everyone gives props and bashes each one so it's really hard to decide. I was thinking of going with the Megan Racing. Any suggestions?

well i thought my rotated mounts would be in before fri nite drags, but theyre are stuck in customs at the border. Dont forget this FRI APRL 2 richmond dragway. Gates open at five whoever is coming let me know. I am leaving work at 1 and maybe we can organize a nice group of balts to drive up!!!

 

Me and my friend might be going. 2 09 SS/TCs it depends on if I get off this night shift between today and tomorrow. Are those rotated mounts and must have for cars lowered on coil overs?

yeah man, I still have the clutch and flywheel. The only other parts I have are a throttle body spacer for meth.

I had ksports on mine, and I absolutely hated it. Even on the softest setting, they were still harsh as all hell, and the roads on the island out here are atrocious. I guess if you were on the peninsula where the roads are smoother, then it's cool, but stay away from ksport. The megan's may be better, but my only experience was horrible.

Coilovers show their benefits on smoother roads.

Right now, my transmission is the problem. There is a special tool needed for the f35 transmission to install the lsd, and the kit that got to the dealership for it didn't have it. So they're searching for it now.

 

whens the estimate time for completion... looking forward to hearing what numbers you put down

 

It all depends on when he gets that tool. I know he'll work on it as fast as possible once he gets it. That is the ONLY thing holding me up right now.
