Danew's rims really look better in person!! Really nice. When we took it from the shop it's been at, I made him bring it straight to my place to wash! It really needed that!

Danew shouldn't be needing a ride any more. My chauffer's hat will be be going up on eBay soon!

No more pushing his car either. It's running fine (motor at least), just needs breaking in, then we'll dial the tune in. Trans has an internal linkage issue from assembly gone wrong when the LSD was put in. The tech that worked on it realizes what is likely misaligned and will get it right while Danew's out playing sailor.

Yes Papa Smurf, Kim is bringing me. She says her car is more comfortable, and I'm not about to argue with a woman that's carrying a baby and is 18 days from the due date.

Shall we meet up tonight before going to Langley? 6:15-6:30 @ iHop parking lot on Armistead and Mercury as we did last time? Or a better location?

Been a while since I've seen everyone, be nice to meet up, Connor and Kim need some direction, plus we can all park like ricers with Cobalts, a discontinued Saturn, and gramps with an HHR.

IIRC getting out that parking lot wasn't that much fun last time, so I'm thinking somewhere else.

 

We're going to head up there once I get home from work. That way traffic won't cause us to be late.

 

so how did things go?

 

Things went well. 7 of us showed up. We spent the night heckling all of the competitors, and cheered for Kenny.

 

went good ran in the 19's for my time trial and made it to the sweet 16. But this clutch has got to go it slips in the turns under hard acceleration in the straights its ok. Oh and me and grandpa joe had a nice lil run on the way home!

 

 

I think I saw a plate similar to that on a Virginia car. Ironically, I have a printed application for custom plates for Utah. I'm thinking of HAULNSS. I'd get a space between the N and S, but Utah only allows 7 characters, and a space counts as one.

I was also considering BWAHAHA, but somebody with a Durango already has it. When I get my white Corvette, many years from now, it will say POPCORN.



Going to see Iron Man 2 on Sunday was discussed at the track. Is anybody up for that? I'm in.
