2 weeks in august for R&R and then back for another 4-5 months. projected return for good is late Dec.

Suffering?? not really.. i got a PSP and games commin to me from home and i get to save moneys to upgrade cobalt... and the germans KNOW how to party here.. ill get some pics.. but nighttime is the life hre.. a great resteraunt with cheap but amazing food.. i love it here.. i eat 1 meal a day and sweat off all the extra pounds with hawaiian punch and crystal light lemonade.. im definately NOT suffering.. YOU have all the fast food franchises out there mr.. but i heard that kandahar got attacked the other day.. were on amber alert status... and ohh also i met a SSg with the same patch as you as his deployment patch.. ill have to ask him bout it..

Imperial blue is a beautiful color and was ym first choice of color actually.. alas impatience i ended up with Sport Red.. which still gets mad props.. but not as much as white though.. hey anyone wanna recommend some suspension parts for me??
Coilovers i would like to switch to instead of the lowering springs.. as well as shocks and struts and front/rear sway bars.. thoughts? opinions?

 

Yo, I dunno if you heard but General McChrystal shut every AAFESS ran resturant was shut down. Only resturant left is a T.G.I. Friday's and a Kabob house. The kabob place is nasty and you can't eat at Friday's and feel full without spending 30-40 dollars. We have BBQ's at out Mortuary ever Saturday evening which friggin rocks. Play Texas Hold 'Em, Spades, Dominoes, Darts. If you're ever in Kandahar on a Saturday, look us up.

the newestFOB being built up here is Deh Dadi I and II Deh Dadi I is just a rolling stock yard.. pretty much all er trucks yer MRAPs MAT-Vs LMTVs PLS, HEMMT and 1151s come out of this place.. and i put them on the truck trailers,.... very sketchy though.. some of those trailers.. **** i want some TGI frdays.. i coul use a full slab of ribs right now.. sick of paying with euros...

 

when did this FOB come about? I know Delaram II is about 4 months old now. Is it Army? DI for us is similar to what your describing. We may be talking about the same places just different names for them.

 

wel im all the way up in RC north... afghan in Mazar-e-sherif its a couple hours north of kandahar and such.. Deh dadi is about 40 mins from here by convoy... over by Camp Spann..

its not bad up here at all.. a C-17 almost tipped an MRAP being loaeed onto a truck trailer.. it was funny the wing almost reached it from the runway.. our rolling stock yard is right by the runway
