I have the GM Stage 1 Upgrade. It's def a significant different over stock. Well worth every penny. If your planning on doing any bolt ons to your car your going to want it so you can take even the slightest advantage over your upgraded components as a non GMS1 Cobalt wont yield any gains in power.

If your getting an after market tune your also going to want the GMS1 so that you can get the upgraded sensors so your computer will read higher boost levels properly. Get it.

Cheapest your going to get it.

btw do you have a blue ss/tc with a low rise?

Well, went car shopping with the in-laws today. Looked at an 09 Saturn Vue, 2010 GMC Terrain and Acadia, but ended up getting a 09 Ford Escape.

It wasn't for us, so don't worry. We have both Cobalts. Although, we very seriously considered moving on the Vue.

You should have been there for the dyno day we did in late Feb.

I have to disagree with a number of statements you made. The GM Stage kit yields the lowest gains compared to other tuning options. Not a good "bang for the buck" choice unless you want to be sure of warranty coverage. A good tune alone will net better gains than the GM St1.

As for the invite, got a text @ 1am Saturday morning from a Honda friend, got online, checked it out, and proceeded to change my oil @ 2am and partially clean car. Joe and I woke up @ 7am to finish cleaning, and hit the road to caravan with them to Richmond. Amazing amount of cars, people estimate 800+.

I really don't know. I have only had my ss/tc for a little over a week. I'm still getting back into the game, lol.
