yea the one off of jefferson...i like it its different and i kno of only one other person who owns it one here...i hated the stock wing it was nice to look at from the side but in my opinion it was a little to short length wise and to get a carbon fiber insert for the blade cost just as much as getting a whole new wing that i liked. Is ur front lip really like that or is it photoshop'd

Just getting caught up here....
Want to throw in some personal opinion and random facts here on LNF (some applies to LSJ) tuning.
First, no matter what direction anyone chooses to go, once you get over about 300HP/300+TQ you had better be prepared to replace your clutch (expensive!) and deal with possible (LSJ and LNF weakness = pistons) that can break the ring lands under high boost conditions.
That said, regarding the LNFs...
1. The "best bang for the buck", safely, is a good tune with HPTuners, period! When it comes to mods, your best gain will be with a good downpipe. The rest of the exhaust and intake is going to give marginal gains.
2. With HPTuners, there are people who actually know how these complex systems work and there are "wannabe" tuners who buy HPT and "con" tunes off others, call themselves "tooners" and have absolutely no idea of how to deal with variables like intakes or other mods. Just copy and paste. Good luck with that! Common occurance on CSS.net.
3. I have seen sorry results from "canned" tunes. Good luck with that, too.
4. I respect Vince Geglia of Trifecta and what he's done. However, they tend to be rather conservative and not net the best gains. To improve, the earlier tunes cannot be edited by HPT or any other software. The later ones can, if specified. That itself can result in higher costs.
5. PPC, offered by Hahn: first to market, WAY overpriced. Mid-range in gains.
6. GMPP "Stage" tune: Not good for the cost involved. By itself, your ass will be covered by warranty. But, by the time you buy the "kit" and deal with the costs of a mandatory dealer install, it is NOT the best solution. But, it is a good starting point for those who want high outputs or install a bigger turbo down the road. However, the 3-bar sensors can be had for less than $100 and the GM tunes are readily available and can be written with HPT.
Bottom line, from what I've seen: Get the sensors, GM Stage starter tune from a good tuner, then build on that with HPT. That will give the best gains!
Re: LSJs beating LNFs.... NOt going to mention names here, but if any LSJ beat an LNF that was red with silver "racing" stripes, well.... That don't count!!

Yes my lip is like this, no it is not photoshopped.
Still hate the wing, though the same could be said for my lip and not being a Handa or Vdubya. To each his own. I just prefer to see a 240 sliding sideways bouncing off the rev limiter when I picture a wing like such. I had a run in with you on Victory, briefly where you sped onto the on-ramp of 64. I don't like whomping on other Cobalt's but the wing made me regret not doing such! Hence the memory.
Anyhow, enjoy, I'm a nice guy, just speak my mind.
