Get my car back again today. I'm not getting too excited though. I anticipate not leaving the shop with it......unless the guy at the shop wants to ride shotgun so I can "replicate the issues I had mentioned when I brought it back in."

-.-

Ohhh good news though. My lady bought me the new 360 last night for no reason at all. It's pretttttty sweet. That being said, I'm selling my old one. 20 gigs and the new wifi. Looking to get $50 but a guy at work has first dibs. Just getting a feeler out in case he doesn't end up grabbing it.

Update: car is still not right. Got the overspray and mirror issues taken care of. There is still noise when the wheel is turned, the steering wheel is still slightly cocked to the left, and turning the wheel to the right is still tighter than when turned to the left.

The nice fellows at RK took my car out twice (and got mud on it -.-) and they said they did not notice any of those problems. The insurance adjuster was at elite autobody when I came back for the car today. He basically told me RK could not find any problems and they were not going to look at it again. From there I MADE him sit in my car to listen to the noise. He said it was noticeable but RK checked and there was nothing wrong. So I asked if I could take it somewhere else. He said yes but any repairs would have to be determined to be needed because of the accident. I said okay, a bit upset he wasn't more helpful.

After that I began moving some things from the rental to my Balt. I open the tru k and what do I see? My bent rods and a sht strut. I picked them up and walked in. I presented them to the lady behind the desk and said "this is starting to get pretty unprofessional." embarassed, she took them and told me they must have been in a rush. To which I responded, "you've had my car for 21 days."

I need someone who works at a shop who does work on suspension to help me out here. I'm not getting much help from the insurance company to "make" RK finish the job. However they said I could take t elsewhere they'd pay for any problems found because of the accident. My car WAS perfect, now it's not. That's a problem.

Wow that's pretty ridiculous. Sounds like you need a better insurance company as well if there not willing to stand behind there customer to get them back riding to where they where in the first place.

I have progressive. I've contacted their investigation department. This will NOT stand.

Ohh and another little tid bit I noticed while driving to dinner: the mirror they put on is not the same as my drivers side mirror. It's subtle, but it's definitly different.

This was a place that progressive is partnered with and thy said they'd covertheir work for life. Also, they said they have some of the best customer satisfaction with them. The first time they messed up progressive didn't want me to go to another shop because the work was covered under waranty and they didn't want to have to pay more for it to be fixed. Now that RK says they can't fix it, I can take it somewhere else but appearntly it has to be on my time.

This is why I dropped Progressive for State Farm. I know of a really good shop if you don't mind driving to Western Branch.

I'd drive to New York if they can get it done right. Because insurance is paying for the repairs I'm hoping the shop just goes nuts replacing things.

What's the name of it?

Well arn't YOU schnazzy. But seriously, that sounds nice. You wern't feeling it out around armistead and mercury, were you? My girlfriend said she saw a black SS speeding up and slowing down a lot while comming home from work at around 8-ish

She asked me why he would do that haha. I told her he was either practicing or just got some work done.
