i got a ticket a couple weeks ago going 76 in a 55 on the chesapeake bay bridge... i live in NJ and I have to go to court august 24th. Hopefully Ill see some of you guys down there...btw anyone know how fucked i am? I know it will be a little different cus im outta state and I tried calling to see how much my ticket will be but they only list prices for speeding 19mph over the limit and below.
PS: He spelt my first name wrong... should I mention that in court or should I leave it alone and hope for the best?

Get your speedo checked for accuracy. If it reads 2mph or more slow you can present that in court and it'll help reduce the ticket to a simple speeding. Right now you are looking at reckless driving and that's a felony out here. It may help you to consult an attorney.
Major rain storm tonight that caused severe storm warnings, flash flood warning, and tornado watches. Tv reception went out, so I rented a video from Blockbuster. Roads weren't flooded when I went to blockbuster. Came back same route, roads we're mostly unchanged. Then came to a spot with deep water, but not enough to flood the engine. Couldn't move to left lane because a truck was speeding past. The truck made some large waves and splashed lots of water onto my car. Power reduced and it died. Got towed to Hall Chevy and tried starting car. Engine won't turn.
This happened down the street from my house on Taylor Road, in front of YMCA. I've never seen it flood there. Police were surprised too. The water wasn't deep enough to touch the side skirts, but close enough that when cars passed me I could hear the water splashing against the floor pan.
Talk to the dealership and find out where they are sending the scrap parts. My car will be fixed, so don't think about volturing my car. I have comprehensive and collision insurance with a $0 deductible through State Farm.

Where did you get your ticket? Depending on the city you could be alright. I got a 86 in a 55 in Norfolk, paid court costs and went on my way. However, Hampton and VA Beach are pretty serious about tickets.

Go 0 on your comprehensive coverage only. It costs less than $10 per month more than a policy with a $250 deductible. Leave your liability and collision coverage at a $250 deductible.

Red cavvy?
Also, my headlights are gen 3 projectors. I'm so horrible with wiring I'm worried I'd mess something up somewhere down the line. As for the lunch and beer, you pick whatever place you want, I buy.
