I would have to hear yours to be sure, but I did have mine go out a few years ago. Our timing chain tensioners are driven my the oil pump. If the tensioners are failing it could very likely be caused by a failing oil pump. The fix I got under recall replaced the tensioners and the oil pump.

Nope. I leave for Utah tomorrow.

Additionally, is there anybody looking for a job? Knowing auto parts, being able to sell, and being computer profficient (sp?) will help, and is preferred by the potential employer. This is full time work in a dealership parts department setting. You not only work with customers, but also sales and service departments. I don''t know the pay. I was offered the job, but declined only because I work when Kim doesn't. I knew they needed somebody that could give them more time. The people that you would wirk with are awesome. They are not one brand nut huggers. If you need more info call me. I likely won't be on the internet for over a week. I leave on vacation tomorrow morning and won't be back until Friday next week.

Hah, I'm already tired of my lip. ****, the car in general, it's fun to drive everyday but it's going back to just being a "car".

For those guys that don't know from Facebook, work has my two week notice. It's been fun fellas, going to miss you, all of you are like family to me and have made a good dent in my life. Thanks for the times.

It would be good times. And you could meet Rissa and Liz in person like I did.

Listen, Joe.... You don't have gramp's permission to leave!!

Hey, guys.... How about we do a "going away" cookout for Joe??

Danew, you playing sailor now?

Guys,

Last night at 2:00 a.m. I got a link to the newest beta from HPTuners that now supports the E37 ECM!!!

Right now I am only 1 of ten testers that have access to this. I need someone with the following to contact me to confirm that this is working and give feedback to HPT.

Looking for: '07 and up 2.2 and '08 and up 2.4

If you've got one, please contact me! At first we would only connect ot pull the OEM tune and do a short data log to confirm that it is working. There would be no charge for this. If it does work well without issue, then we can talk about a tune.

To contact me, PM me here, email me at TuningConcepts [at] ***.net or call @ 757-647-0360.

This is a great development! Let's work together to get into regular production and release!!

Dan, I've got their 2-1/2" SS piping kit on the wagon. I would call it good quality for the money. I just got the piping, though. Sound would depend upon the resonator and muffler setup.

If you want quiet, hold off for a bit. Danew bought a Dynomax VT (straight though with flap valve) to try, but he's out playing sailor right now and won't be back for a couple of weeks. I'm interested myself to see how this turns out.

Did you ever fix your heat exchanger cooling system? When we tuned your IAT2 temps were way too high. If fixed, let's get back together and fix the tune.

mandrel is just the way the piping is bent. You have mandrel bend and crush bend. Mandrel is the better of the two more smooth and better flowing.

Yeah, well I'd love to go to the track, but I'm underway yet again. Should be back in two weeks. Maybe then I'll get to install my injectors and get her tuned.

Plus the muffler. Dynomax super turbo sound deadening was just getting blown out of the shell.

BTW, if there is anyone that is looking for a pretty much complete supercharging kit, I found one for 500 bucks from a legit person.

Let me know if you wants it.

Dan, I'll trade you one for your wife.

Seriously, your best bet would be to get the OEM one from a dealer. Better than many aftermarket ones.
