I've looked around at sounds clips and i like the way the magnaflow sounds. Any suggestions?

Also the link to the Mandrel Exhaust system that you posted does NOT have a resonator. A good resonator will help keep the noise down and not be a power restriction.
As I said earlier, hold on for a bit until Danew gets back (soon!) and gets that Dynomax VT installed to see how that works out.

Helloo!
As many now know I'm back in MI, it was a rushed decision my last day of work was scheduled to be the 15th but that didn't work out. 4 months ago I lost my friend's whom I at the time moved down there for and just recently lost one of my greatest friend's Sokol, coupled with work ******* me and the realization that this was taking place I made a quick decision to do what was right for me.
This past weekend was the "GM Tuner Bash" while real down in size, these are people I've driven to Ohio for since 2004. Family, we've shared a ton of good times. I made the decision Friday to call it quits, packed up, and made it to the hotel @ 2am Saturday morning to be greeted by people I haven't seen in two years. I missed last year due to move and financial reasonings.
I'm going to miss everyone of you down there, I can't say a bad thing about any of you and you're some of the most genuine people I've ever gotten a chance to know and feel blessed that I've been given the chance and time. I felt like a big part of a family and I'm going to always have that.
While I highlighted everybody up top, I want to personally thank grandpa Joe and Warren, big people in my life and two of the closest to me beyond Sokol. I will never forget the times we had Warren and you're one of the greatest guys ever. Stay black . As for the old man, he just kept **** in check and knows how to tune .
I hope as a group things remain as they are, no drama, chill, and good relationships. I'm going to miss being a part of it. People come, people go, but I feel I always have you guys and it's amazing .
Thanks for everything.

Very happy that you didn't let anything hold you back from the move you needed to make to put yourself in a better situation. I am, however, a bit disappointed that I never had a chance to meet you. I heard great things from the members I have met.
Enjoy yourself.
Enjoy yourself.

Sooo my cousin posted a funny ass article...
this guy worked for jet blue and was a flight attendant
Call them your not so friendly skies.
A Jet Blue flight from Pittsburgh to New York had just arrived at JFK airport shortly after noon today when attendant Steven Slater snapped. He cursed at passengers over the p.a., pulled the emergency chute, and dashed across the tarmac toward the terminal building.
According to the website of WNBC, the New York TV network affiliate, Slater had had an altercation with one of the passengers on the flight. The cause of the incident is familiar, at least to anyone who has ever flown into New York. In short, a female passenger rose before the plane completed its taxi to the gate with the intention of retrieving a piece of luggage from the overhead compartment. Slater told the passenger to return to her seat but the woman ignored him.
When the exchange grew heated, so did the underside of Slater's collar. After treating the 100 passengers onboard to a stream of four-letter invective, he grabbed a six-pack of beers, activated the emergency side near the rear of the aircraft, and hightailed it from the scene.
Witnesses claim that the woman was the more flagrant offender during the verbal exchange, delivering a few choice profanities of her own, all directed at the flight attendant, who was doing his job. WNBC reports that as Slater was exiting, he said something to the effect of "there goes 28 years." He was later arrested at his home in Queens by Port Authority officials.
According to a spokeswoman for the Queens DA's office, Slater is being charged with 2nd-and 4th-degree criminal mischief, 1st- and 2nd-degree reckless endangerment, and criminal trespass in the 3rd degree.
No word on what became of the foul-mouthed passenger.

Schulte, you will be missed. You were always a pleasure to be around.
I admire you most for (as a young punk) your desire to learn, the amount of knowledge you've already gained due to that attitude, plus your willingness to help so many others around here.
I sincerely hope that life treats you well, no matter where you are or what you do. You deserve that.
Take care my friend and I hope we meet again some day.
OK, guys.... Two things:
1. I am one of a few to have the latest HPTuners beta that is aimed towards the '07 and up Cobalts with the 2.2 or 2.4 engines. I want to be able to "test" this and give feedback to HPT. All I want to do right now is to confirm with them how it is working. For no cost, all I want to do is to try to pull the OEM calibration file and do a simple data log for now. For you.... A FREE check for DTCs and the possibility of a tune going forward. Can't beat that! Get in touch... TuningConcepts@***.net or call or text 757-647-0360 for info. Help me help you and others with the E37 ECM. Please if you have the earlier '05 & '06 2.2 with the E16a ECM, we are out of luck with HPT for now and likely going forward, so don't ask.
2. This local group has gone through a LOT of change over the years. A lot due to military. People come; people go. Some sell their cars. Some due to a lack of interest. In past we lost a lot of good people. We just lost Joe Schulte, a really good guy! Soon Danew is going to be leaving. Another really great guy.
Bottom line: We need to keep a strong group going here. Just for fun. Just for sharing knowledge. And. just for the hell of it! Old members (not age!), get back in touch! Newer ones... participate! Lurkers... speak up!
In spite of the changes, there has been a lot of good people and good times. Don't let it stop!
