VIP OHIO Meet at the Koni Challenge race - June 22, 2008
Chevrolet wants to show their support to Cobalt and Ecotec enthusiasts!
Chevy Racing is offering a limited number of Cobalt owners (and their guest) special VIP treatment at the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course on Sunday, June 22, 9:00am – 4:00pm
Come cheer on the production-based Cobalt SS teams during the Koni Challenge race, plus get behind the scenes with the Chevy staff, teams and drivers. Don’t own a Cobalt? No problem – any Ecotec powered GM vehicle is eligible.

Register quickly because SPACE IS LIMITED and we need to send out the tickets in time for the event!
What is included:
• VIP Parking
• (2) General Admission Tickets
• Private Tech Talk with GM Engineers/Teams
• Full Catered Lunch
• Goodie Bags
What is the cost?
• There is no cost. It's FREE!
What you need to do to get in on this?
• Be able to bring your Cobalt (or other ECOtec powered vehicle)
• Make sure you can go on Sunday June 22nd
• Have the urge to have a great time
• Respond quickly! Registration ends , June 16th at 3:00pm (eastern)

Lordstown Assembly Plant Tour
DATE: TBD
GM is planning a VERY limited space Lordstown Assembly Plant Tour, and everyone that attends this event will have first dibs on the tickets to go to the plant and get the experience of seeing a 2008 Cobalt SS being built from beginning to end! This is an EXTREMELY VIP opportunity and the first 50 cars to attend the Mid Ohio Sports Course KONI Challenge race will be eligible to receive tickets to this upcoming event. To clarify, in order to be eligible to attend the Lordstown Plant tour you must register AND ATTEND the Mid Ohio Sports Course KONI Challenge. At the race we will take first come first serve registrations for the Lordstown Plan Tour.
EVERYONE is invited to meet at the Lordstown plant for a show; however the tour will be limited to those who register and attend the Mid Ohio Sports Course KONI Challenge.
Tour space is limited due to many rules, but we have been asking for this for a while so we’ll take any tours! We will post the date and more information at a later time. Please see this thread for this second event:

They're just trying to get you out there to secretly void your warranties and let you blab your mouths about what they should watch out for when people bring cars in for warranty repairs!

Lol I've already hung out with the GMPD people before and raced with them before. Besides I haven't had a warranty in 20,000 miles.
Standard Grand-Am Cup car setup. Stage 2, tein coilovers, OEM rotors but I forget the brand of brake pads, they went with Grand Am wheel hubs and beefier steering knucles. I think they upped the sway bars, and it has a different final drive (4.45 vs 4.05).
