They had to actually pull power off of their initial set up because the car was carrying too much power through the turns. It's also a race car so it's gutted with a lot of carbon fiber. I think it weighs about 2300 lbs?

well as much as i wanna go im not sure if i can get the days ill try to slide a re-enlistment pass in there so i can go and get my plates changed over to Ohio also. im thinking bout custom plates. how does "TURBALT" sound?

i can related when i went to the quarter mile track i did burn a lot wheel of the line and my boy with a almost stock cobalt ss sc did about the same times as me ... power is not all sometimes aah

Well the problem is that suspension is what makes you faster on a road course, not raw power. Especially with a front wheel drive where understeer becomes an issue. That's why Honda's are so popular with the road racing crowd. Small, light, with an amazing suspension so the lack of power really doesn't matter when they can still outhandle most other cars.
