What if it rains on sunday? For those like me making a 225-miles-plus-trip, should we even head out the morning of if it's raining or there is a high chance of rain that day?

It's supposed to be a nice day out that day but if there is rain the VIP event will still be going on for those that want to stay and enjoy the festivities.

As far as the race is concerned that is up to the track officials.

This isn't a ****-Nascar race where they cancel over a light mist. If there is rain... that's when the REAL racing begins.

Taken straight from the Mid-Ohio website:

Q: What happens if it rains?
A: Typically, events will continue even if rain exists. In certain instances, races may be delayed, however it is very rare that an entire event is canceled due to inclement weather.
